"Although . . ." Ren's voice suddenly cut through the tension, causing the others to pause and turn back to him.
"I forgot to mention that my friend over there, Azazel, is the Demon Lord, and those guys behind him are his warlords."
"So, it's friends now?" Desira laughed a little, her tone playful. "I remember that you almost killed Lord Azazel before."
Azazel grinned, a hint of amusement dancing in his eyes as he placed his hands at the back of his head. "Now, now, let bygones be bygones."
"We're already aware of that fact," Scar remarked, thanks to the [Monocle] he had used earlier to get Azazel and his group's information.
"And did you know that Azazel owes me one?" Ren added, a sly grin playing on his lips. The revelation hung in the air, leaving the others stunned as they processed the implications of Ren's connection with the Demon Lord and his warlords.
Scar narrowed his eyes and asked, "So what of it?"
Ren shrugged, his gaze serious as he looked at Scar and the others. "Hey, Azazel, can you make it so that all my enemies can't come in here? You can kill them if you want."
Scar and the others' eyes widened in disbelief.
Azazel laughed heartily. "Keekeekee! That's all?! Sure! Sure! Consider it done! Just give me the names, and I'll have every demon and devil hunt them upon sight!"
Black Lion, Fate Alliance, Sleeping Dragon, Dragon Dynasty, White Unicorn, and the other guilds were all stunned, struggling to process what Ren had just said.
When the realization finally sank in, their faces turned ashen with disbelief.
That meant they were banned and hunted in the Netherworld! They couldn't explore the underworld or gain first dibs on its treasures!
It would be an extreme loss for them!
"Hoi, Ren!" Aragon shouted, his voice trembling with anger. "What do you mean by that?!"
Ren chuckled, his tone dripping with amusement. "Oh, I'm sure you know exactly what I mean. What? You can have everyone hunt me and my guild, but I can't do the same for you?"
Scar and the others' expressions darkened with rage. "Don't push your luck."
"Or what?" Ren retorted, his smirk widening. "But don't worry. All of you who back down now and swear with a blood contract that you won't hurt or hunt us will be exempted. But those who don't . . ."
Ren shrugged nonchalantly. "Well . . . let's just say you can expect to be banned from the Underworld forever. Although, that suits us just fine . . ."
Ren's grin widened, his eyes gleaming with malice. "Because World Conqueror will claim all the first blood in the underworld and become the top guild in the world!"
Scar and the others gritted their teeth in frustration and anger. They knew Ren wasn't bluffing; they had come to understand his character too well to doubt his intentions now.
On the sidelines, Leonel and the others couldn't help but sigh wryly as they watched the unfolding scene.
"So, this was your plan all along . . ." Leonel remarked, unsure whether to laugh or cry at the audacity of Ren's scheme.
Sumeri chuckled. "I almost feel sorry for your enemies."
"Of course you don't," Nikolai interjected.
"Yes, I don't," Sumeri agreed without hesitation, grumbling, "They could just die for all I care." She meant Scar and Invayne. "That's Ren for you," Isolde nodded with a proud smile, relieved that she had stuck by his side through thick and thin. Now, Guns and Knives could enter the Underworld freely.
Ragnar remained silent, his trust in Ren unwavering since the beginning. Ren's exceptional abilities and intuition had convinced him to stand by his side, and now he reaped the rewards. Ren's ability to achieve the impossible had truly impressed him. He had even managed to befriend the Demon Lord and his Warlords!
"So, this was what you were doing in the past few days here?" Roz asked Evie.
Evie smiled, her expression tinged with satisfaction. "That's right . . . It wasn't easy though."
"Ren! You will pay for this!" Cang Lu's voice rang out, filled with fury.
"That player and his guild," Ren simply said to Azazel and pointed at Cang Lu and Sleeping Dragon. Azazel's grin widened, his eyes narrowing with evil intent. "Looks like there are going to be lots of souls to feast on today."
"Allow me to take care of them, Lord Azazel," Desira stepped forward eagerly, but she was pushed back by Iraelyn.
"Allow me."
Before Desira could utter a word, Iraelyn had already sprung to her feet and landed at the center of Sleeping Dragon's formation.
Before Cang Lu, Hixel, and Aragon could even react, half of their members were sent flying with one sweep of Iraelyn's claw.
Scar and the others stood stunned, their voices stolen by the chaos unfolding before them, while Sleeping Dragon scrambled to get away from Iraelyn's devastating onslaught.
Desira pouted and muttered, "Such a brutish way of fighting."
Hubrion chuckled from the sidelines. "We'll have our turn soon enough."
"There's plenty of them right there," Avaris remarked. "You can have them all if you want. I'd rather take their items."
"Patience . . ." Azazel muttered. "There's plenty for everyone."
Sleeping Dragon attempted to retaliate, but Iraelyn's defense and strength were incomparable. With a fierce breath and swift tail strikes, she dispatched anyone who dared to challenge her.
Her claws moved with brutal swiftness, and her speed was unmatched. She transformed into a half-dragon mid-fight, her attacks growing faster and more ferocious by the second.
If this continued, Sleeping Dragon would be wiped out within minutes.
"Help us!" Cang Lu shouted desperately at the other guilds.
However, no one moved. They only watched in horror as Sleeping Dragon was massacred by one of the Warlord. Other guilds kept their distance, fearing the repercussions of intervening.
"You!" Cang Lu's face contorted with anger and betrayal. None of them had anticipated being abandoned like this. Cang Lu had no choice but to sound the alarm for retreat.
But Iraelyn's domain prevented them from logging out and escaping.
"Everyone, scatter and hide! Escape!" Aragon shouted, desperation evident in his voice.
Iraelyn laughed maniacally. "Good! Good! Escape and struggle! It makes me excited for the hunt!" With a roar, she transformed into her dragon form and pursued the scattered players, reveling in the thrill of the chase.
