MMORPG: Rebirth as an Alchemistchapter 386: the guild wars 5

[BONUS]

At the moment, both Guns and Knives and Black Lion had already bored a hole into each other's walls, and every player was wreaking havoc inside their enemies' base.

Both Siege Machines were destroyed, and it all ended up in a race to reach the enemy's Town Hall.

Against all odds, Isolde was put in the base to defend their TH. It was a risk since Isolde was their top DPS.

Guns and Knives was determined to stop Black Lion from destroying their TH no matter what, thus this decision. As an alternative, Xian and the other high-ranking commanders in the guild would destroy the opposite side's TH.

However, it wouldn't be easy since Black Lion's TH also had defenders. One of them was Scar, and the other was someone with long green hair and a laid-back face — a new member?

There were only two of them defending their TH. It was either they were confident with their base layout or their abilities.

So far, Isolde had managed to fend off every player that came charging at their TH. With her firepower and area damage, not to mention the five White Mages supporting her from behind, Isolde was like an invincible rattling gun.

She just continued to shoot everyone while the healers healed her nonstop, ensuring that she was in optimal health. There was also one on standby, having [Cleanse] at the ready to make sure that no Status Effect would offset her.

"S-she's going to be alright, right?" Leonel stuttered. "With her damage and the White Mages supporting her at the back, there's no way that they can break that defense."

"They're too close," Ren muttered instead.

"Close?"

"The White Mages and Isolde's positions."

Leonel didn't have the chance to ask more when Gerald the Swordsman and Hidey the Orc suddenly appeared in front of Isolde together with their group of supporters. The two were the top DPS in Black Lion, and their faces showed their determination to destroy Guns and Knives' TH no matter what.

The cheers went through the roof, and it felt like Ren's screen was about to break from the noise.

It was time for the final battle!

Isolde didn't wait for the two to react and let loose hundreds of bullets in Gerald and Hidey's location. Though Isolde's damage was huge, her weapon's movements was slow. Gerald and Hidey's AGI were among the top, so they easily avoided her bullets.

It was like Black Lion knew that Isolde was going to defend their base, which was why Black Lion sent out two of their fastest.

Realizing that she couldn't hit them, Isolde changed her weapons into the lighter pistols. But while she was distracted in that short window of time, two light blue duds came flying in her direction.

One froze her and everyone within a radius of ten meters from her, while the other was thrown into the area where the White Mages were located.

Hubert's Shop became accessible to players weeks ago. It only took one player to reach it, and after a short while, it was already circulating in the net. And in just a few hours, players were already lining up at Hubert's Shop.

Gerald and Hidey used that five seconds of freeze and targeted the TH as fast as they could. They ignored Isolde since they only had six [Freeze Duds] left. The support behind them continuously threw those Duds, keeping Isolde and her group of Mages in a frozen state while Black Lion was decreasing their TH's HP.

"Oh, no!" Leonel shrieked in his seat. "T-they're going to lose! I can't watch!"

Ren ignored him, but his fingers were tightly curled in his palms. Those Mages should have spread out! But it seemed like they forgot their positioning in the heat of the battle. And the Duds' range was wide in that enclosed space in the TH area so they were bound to be hit by the Dud's range.

Still they should have spread out so Black Lion would use three Duds instead of two each time the freezing effect was gone.

The moment the Freeze status effect disappeared and Black Lion ran out of Duds to throw, Isolde didn't waste any more time, and quickly changed her weapon back into her rattling gun, and rained down bullets in Gerald and Hidey's way.

"Don't stop! Ignore her!" shouted Gerald.

Even the five healers supporting the two couldn't keep up with the damage that Isolde was dealing with Gerald and Hidey.

Within seconds, Gerald died, and it was only Hidey left with an HP that wouldn't last five seconds against Isolde's damage.

Against the non-ending bullets, Hidey fell in Isolde's hand as well, but in her last moment, she still managed to slash her blade one last time enough to fully destroy Guns and Knives' TH.

"NooOOo!" Leonel clutched his hair like he was the one who had lost.

"Didn't Isolde have an item like those two?" Leonel growled and started to pin the blame on someone again.

"There are only ten items available in every guild at the start of each fight. It looked like most of their items were with Xian."

"That's right!" Leonel's face brightened. "If they could destroy Black Lion's TH, then they could still win this!"

All eyes flung at Xian and his group marching towards Black Lion's TH. Eventually, they were face to face with Scar and Joker, the guy with green hair.

Xian was confident that they could destroy Black Lion's TH. He didn't know why Scar only had one support with him, but this one was in the bag. Choosing to defend their TH with only two players would prove to be a fatal mistake.

"Paralyzed them!" Xian shouted.

But before they could throw those Duds into the air, time had stopped, and Xian and the others halted on their spot.

"W-what–!" Leonel couldn't believe his eyes while the gasp of the audience could be heard even on the other side of the screen.

What happened?! Everyone thought at the same time.
