C93 – To the Kingdom
“…So we are being tied up as well, yes.”
Sorglos was currently tied to a chair in the dining hall.
The same scene had occurred before, after a certain loli had taken away their master.
“Of course, you perverted stalker. Now it’s time for your execution.”
And that same loli was smirking down at Sorglos.
Her position had changed, and she seemed inexplicably happy.
“I can’t believe you took Master around and got him involved in a battle with ‘Iron Scrap’. Moreover, taking advantage of an enemy guildmaster so that Master could protect you-…”
“I’m envious!”
“Vampir, you’re too noisy!”
Vampir interrupted Laladi’s words and made a fuss, causing Kühling to throw out cold remarks.
In the end, everyone in Yelquchira was just jealous of Sorglos, who was protected by their master.
“Now, now, we were able to defeat Inicken, so we don’t have to blame Sorglos that much, right?”
“You’re too naive, Reese-san.”
Reese, who was the most sensible person in Yelquchira, tried to calm down the situation, but the other members were still not happy with the good memories Sorglos had made with their master..
Although her reply was calm, Schwarz also seemed to be in a frustrated mood.
“Certainlyyy, I have thought about doing something to her as well, buuut we still need to gather more information from her, you seee.”
With the words of Anat, who was formally the manager of Yelquchira, the conflicting atmosphere ceased immediately.
Of course, they didn’t seem to be convinced, since it wasn’t their master’s words.
“That’s right, Laladi-dono. You need to endure what you must endure, yes.”
“Uwah!? When did you break free!? Rather, don’t touch me. I don’t know what got mixed inside your body.”
“T-That’s terrible, yes.”
Sorglos nodded and patted Laladi on the shoulder.
But rather than being curious about how she broke free from the rope, Laladi instead threw a complaint due to being touched by Sorglos, which made her cheeks twitch underneath her cloth.
As a slime, it was easy for Solgros to get out of the noose.
“Sooo? Did you get aaany useful information frooom the guildmaster of “Iron Scrap”?
“Umu, what we found out was that there were two reasons why “Iron Scrap” attacked us, yes. The first one was Rousseld-dono’s enmity towards us, Yelquchira. And the other reason was the prince’s request to subjugate us, yes.”
Sorglos answered Anat’s question without hesitation.
In the end, the prince’s involvement had already been discovered by “Salvation Army (Yelquchira)”.
It was no doubt that Rousseld did not give out such information.
As Sorglos herself was the one who had forcibly fiddled with his brain and extracted that information instead.
It would be impossible for the prince to predict that.
“What does the Kingdom have to do with them?”
“I kneeew it, the kingdom is involved, huuuh?”
Vampir didn’t understand anything…or rather, wasn’t particularly interested, while Anat immediately predicted what was going on behind the scenes based on Sorglos’ report.
This was the reason why she was able to act as their manager, even if it was only a temporary one.
“Speaking of which, you had said that the Kingdom smelled quite fishy recently, is that true?”
Reese asked and looked at Ritter, who was the “person-in-charge” of the Kingdom.
Ritter nodded her head with a blank look while secretly doing maintenance to her sword for the sake of slaying Sorglos.
“The struggle for the throne is becoming more and more intense…it seems.”
“S-Seems you said…? I-Is there any definite proof…?”
Krankheit looked at Ritter tilting her head and couldn’t help but feel uneasy..
“…Because I’m not interested.”
“Then what’s the point of being the “person-in-charge” of the Kingdom!?!”
Where can you find an overseer who does not gather information because they say they are not interested in their surveillance target?.
Kühling retorted, but Ritter was still only tilting her head.
For better or worse, she was pure and had a loyal dog trait that would only listen to the people she approved.
Unfortunately, Kühling was not one of them.
“Neena told me…. There will be a lot more fighting in the future.”
“This person called Neena is the princess of the Kingdom, yes.”
Ritter’s poorly worded statement was added with more explanation by the intelligence officer, Sorglos.
“From what Ritter-san said, it sounds like a lot of trouble.”
“It’s bound to be messy in any country, when it comes to deciding who will be the next head of a state, you see.”
Schwarzed spoke to Vampir who looked completely uninterested.
Certainly, there were many countries that have an absolute monarchy system, so it was easy for such an ugly battle to occur.
“In aaany case, we’ll have to deal with the priiince who…tried to harm us and Masteeer.”
The members, who had been making a ruckus, simultaneously nodded at Anat’s words.
Yes, the prince who forced their master to fight must be rewarded.
Of course, the most unforgivable of all was the executor of the plan, Inicken, but that was not a problem since all but one of them had already disappeared from this world.
Some of their members were not involved in the attack on Yelquchira, but they were already killed by Reese and Kühling.
“With the supremacy of the dark guilds, the supremacy of “Salvation Army (Yelquchira)”, is now assured. It’s tiiime to move to the next big thiiing.”
“Oh? So, what are we going to do?”
Anat smiled at Laladi’s question.
“Let’s take the kingdooom.”
