《Observer》
“Hee… so you managed to quit your guild that easily? I didn’t think they would just accept that because of how strong you bunch are, though…”
“Fufu, our guild has a lot of understanding (grey) people so they accept it with pleasure, you see… Also, it’s wise for Lucille-dono to fix your way of speaking.”
Sorglos replied to Lucille’s words with a cheerful voice.
Both Sorglos and I are currently working together with Lucille’s guild right after we left the grey guild.
…….understanding…..with pleasure…?
Sorglos calmly told a lie, so it was hard for me to keep my smile.
It makes me want to retort her unintentionally.
“From what we learned so far, it seems the elixir is in a certain forest.”
Apollo got closer and told me so.
Hee… so natural elixirs are inside a forest, huh?
The artificial elixirs, which humanity managed to create by using their wisdom and technology, are strictly stored in a place that cannot be easily entered by anyone, such as the royal castle where the king lives and the church headquarters which is the main shrine of Angelism.
Although the artificial ones are less effective than the real ones, it’s a certain that it can still cure most injuries and illnesses.
It will undoubtedly be used by the royalty or big-wigs of Angelism when they are in a bad situation, you see.
“…I don’t know what happened, but seems like Sorglos is in a good mood.”
“Hmm? not really, there’s no such thing.”
“Liar. This is the first time you are talking with me while smiling.”
“(Well, that’s because I don’t even enjoy talking with all of you in the first place.)”
Lucille said so while peering into Sorglos’ face as he tilted his head in wonder.
Well, just like what Lucille said, she certainly seems to be somewhat festive.
It’s to the point of the calm and collected Sorglos looking like she’s about to start skipping with joy.
The place where the natural elixirs exist seems dangerous, so I just hope that she won’t make any mistakes for being too festive, though…
Well, at that time, I will just support her as her guild master, so it should be fine.
“Hey, did something interesting happened?”
“Lucille. It’s not good to stare at a woman’s face too much.”
Since she didn’t try to speak up, Lucille looked at Sorglos even more suspiciously.
It was Rieg who criticized him.
Despite the appearance, Rieg is a kind gentleman.
Even now, he’s trying to give a helping hand to Sorglos.
Sadly, you’re an Angelism believer….
I unconsciously exhaled a small sigh.
Anyone would think that I’m just exaggerating when they saw his kindness, but I know for a fact that one of the people in the hero’s party, Mary, was also similar like him.
Therefore, I will prepare myself against any followers of Angelism by all means.
If Rieg finds out that our guild does not believe in Angelism, will he suddenly change his attitude and attack us?
I don’t want to have a second coming of Mary.
“Oooii, help me scout over here… It’s lonely to do it alone, you know… Let me join in too…”
It’s Heroro who called out from a few distances ahead of us.
He seems to be the one who scouts in Lucille’s guild.
By the way, even if there are some differences, all of the members of “Yelquchira” have a wide range of scouting. Hence, there is no such thing as being a scout.
As long as you are strong.
Heroro looked back at us who were seemingly having fun, and became lonely.
He looks just like an abandoned puppy.
“Can’t be helped, should I go too?”
Lucille, who is supposed to be the youngest of all, took a grown-up attitude and headed towards Heroro.
Heroro was happy to welcome Lucille.
……Isn’t he the most reliable one here?
With this, the combined team of our dark guild and Lucille’s normal guild was doing well unexpectedly without that much of a conflict.
The reason being is that Sorglos is the one who’s currently working with me.
Conflicts might had occurred if I had brought a child like antiforeignist Laladi instead of Sorglos.
Another reason would be that Lucille and the others don’t have a great hostility towards us.
Of course, they might be on guard knowing that we’re from a dark guild, but they didn’t show it up.
That’s why things are going swimmingly.
In such a good atmosphere, our desire to help Lucica becomes stronger.
Yup. We will work hard and find the natural elixir.
I feel refreshed and enthusiastic.
“………”
At that time, I didn’t notice the person who was observing us.
“(…They are clearly observing us, I see.)” (Sorglos)
◆
“This is the place where the informant, World Eye said to have the elixir.”
Apollo pointed at the deepwood forest.
…a forest that looks familiar.
I asked them whether this is the correct place.
“World Eye said so, you know?”
“Rather, it’s not funny if it was a lie. We gave out almost all our money for this.”
“Certainly…”
Lucille, Heroro and Rieg each said their piece.
Indeed, it’s as Heroro said.
When we intruded ourself to their guild, it has almost no equipment and looks abandoned, except for Lucica’s nursing room.
Most likely, they couldn’t afford enough information with only the money they had.
In order to make up for the shortage, all of their equipments and other items might have been exchanged for funds.
Hence, they currently don’t have the budget to repair their HQ.
It would be natural for this Mr. World Eye not knowing their pocket circumstances, but I can’t wipe out the impression that he was definitely extorting them….
“…!?”
For some reason, Sorglos startled after I mumbled so.
I looked at her wondering if she knows something, but soon after Apollo and Heroro followed me, she didn’t react at all except uttering words towards Mr. World Eye even worse than me.
I guess it was just my imagination.
“I don’t think World Eye was lying. If he lied, he wouldn’t be an informant at this point.”
“That makes sense.”
Rieg nodded to Sorglos’ words.
I haven’t used someone like informant in my lifetime, so I’m not that familiar with it, but nobody would trust or use an informant that doesn’t give reliable information.
…Is it just me who thinks Sorglos knows something about Mr. World Eye from the way she said it?
Well, everyone else doesn’t seem to be doubting her, so it might just be my needless fear.
