Martial Arts Systemchapter 364: truthworthy ichiro?

*Clink*

Malcolm took a recorder from his pocket and pressed a small button on the side.

''I will record this meeting, so be respectful and mindful of your words.'' He put the recorder down on the table and said, ''Now, let's start, shall we?''

Ichiro nodded and was under intense pressure.

The four Agent's kept looking at him with cold eyes and kept increasing the pressure after every minute.

''Were you with Abyss the moment of his death?'' Malcolm asked and looked at Ichiro with a chilly look.

''No,'' Ichiro replied, and everyone in the room turned their gazes towards the lie detector.

The lie detector was still in the color of green.

''Lie detector didn't detect any lies,'' Malcolm said towards the recorder.

The four Agent's relaxed significantly but still kept increasing the pressure on Ichiro.

''Do you know how he died?'' Malcolm asked the second question.

''No.'' Ichiro shook his head and glanced at the lie detector that was still green.

He didn't lie because he genuinely didn't know he had died.

Abyss could have died by a heart attack or from falling down from the cliff; he had no idea; that's why Malcolm's question wasn't the best possible.

He could have asked whether he had a hunch about how he died, then Ichiro would be in a pickle.

''Lie detector didn't detect any lies,'' Malcolm said towards the recorder.

''Is your name really Malcolm?'' Ichiro suddenly asked.

The Agents widened their eyes in surprise.

''Shut up.'' Malcolm spat out angrily, ''I am the one asking questions!''

Ichiro shrugged.

Malcolm had veins popping up on his forehead, but he tried to ask the following question as calmly as he could, ''Do you know who killed Abyss?''

Ichiro's body froze, which was detected by everyone.

''Answer!'' Malcolm said impatiently.

''I… Do.'' Ichiro answered.

The Agent's widened their eyes in shock; few of them even touched their gun that was in the gun holster.

Malcolm waved his hand to calm down the Agents.

They can't kill Ichiro in broad daylight.

But then…

*BEEP!*

A loud sound appeared in the living room, and the green lie detector turned red!

The Four Agent's almost had their eyes popping out of their sockets.

Malcolm frowned, ''What is the meaning of this?''

Ichiro had cold sweat pouring down his back and screamed internally, 'So lucky! I don't actually know whether that bastard killed Abyss or not, so I was lying in some sense!'

He tried to play it cool, ''I wanted to see if it worked, but I guess it does.'' He shrugged nonchalantly.

''Stop playing around!'' Malcolm screamed, which traveled in every place of the mansion.

In Azura's room.

A beautiful young woman was sitting on her bed while a laptop was on her lap.

She was wearing a tight t-shirt and yoga pants, which outlined her curves beautifully.

Her silky hair had returned, and the paleness and dirt on her face were long gone; only beautiful and smooth skin was left.

She perked up her ears after the loud shout appeared.

''Sigh…'' She wryly smiled and soon continued scrolling down the website of Ichiro's fansite.

As Ichiro's girlfriend, she had to know if there were some crazy bitches after him and managed to find a fan site dedicated to him, but it was pretty small currently, with only 100 members.

She managed to infiltrate the website and quickly befriended everyone.

*BAM!*

''Hmph.'' Azura heard a loud sound coming from the downstairs, ''Be quiet, I am working here!''

She humphed and continued her detective work.

In the living room.

Malcolm's fist was smoking after he struck the table, which surprisingly didn't break.

His breathing was becoming rough as he felt like strangling the young man!

The four Agent's paled and wanted to calm down their Captain, but it would be no use.

After Malcolm gets angry, it won't be easy to calm him down.

''Stop playing around!'' He screamed while looking at the red lie detector in front of him.

Once again, Ichiro lied in his answer.

Malcolm asked if he knew the identity of their attacker.

Ichiro said he knew because he knew their Alias, which was The Ones Who Are Hiding In The Dark.

But, he didn't know the real identity, and that's why it was classified as a lie.

'You should ask more accurate questions…' Ichiro rubbed his forehead and wondered if everyone in Government were brainless idiots.

''From now on… Speak the truth!'' Malcolm grabbed his notebook and started reading the questions he hadn't answered yet.

''Flight 447 had an accident while back, and we heard that you were on board.''

Ichiro narrowed his eyes and nodded.

Malcolm continued asking his question, ''Do you know what happened to the plane?''

''Missile strike.'' He replied honestly; this time, the lie detector stayed green.

Malcolm and other agents became serious after this reveal.

But then, Ichiro continued, ''It was on News.'' He smiled and saw Malcolm's face becoming even redder.

The four agents almost facepalmed and forgot that there were hundreds of other passengers, and the pilots that revealed the real reason for the accident.

The News Stations, of course, received the information, and it was on the news for several weeks.

''Do you know who fired the missiles?!'' Malcolm screamed.

Ichiro innocently smiled and shook his head, ''No.''

He didn't know the individual who pressed the button that sent the missiles flying towards him, which means he didn't know.

Malcolm took a deep breath and stood up, ''I think we are finished here!''

The four other Agent's stood up and were ready to take the lie detector away.

But then, Ichiro quickly asked, ''Is your real name Malcolm?''

''Yes!'' Malcolm screamed back, but then the lie detector started beeping.

*BEEP!*

The lie detector turned red.

''Take it away!'' Malcolm screamed and stormed out of the mansion.

The rest of the Agents quickly packed and left the mansion, leaving the messy living room behind.

Ichiro innocently smiled, ''So… His name isn't Malcolm… That will make things easier…'' He wanted to know whether it was his real or fake name, and now he found out.

The first phase of his plan was a success…

It was the first phase of a plan that would change Arya and start his journey to complete the First Destiny.
