Leveling Endlessly with the Strongest Systemchapter 467: roy vs berserking rats!

Cassius, who had been observing the scene from a safe distance, couldn't help but tremble in fear as he watched the events unfold.

"Young man, run away!" Cassius exclaimed urgently.

Despite his warning, Roy didn't move an inch, prompting Nathan to curse in frustration.

"Can't he hear us?!" Nathan exclaimed, feeling helpless.

Elijah, however, had a different theory. "I think he can," he said. "He's purposely not responding."

"Guys, look at what he is doing!"

Suddenly, Jasper pointed in Roy's direction, and everyone's attention turned to him. Their jaws dropped in amazement as they watched Roy step towards the army of rat men, seemingly unafraid.

"He's walking towards them?" Nathan gasped, incredulous.

Suddenly, they heard laughter coming from Roy, who was about to be overrun by the swarm of humanoid rats. Everyone who heard it felt a chill run down their spine before excitement took over.

"He's laughing in the face of death? Is he crazy?" Cassius exclaimed in disbelief.

"I don't think so." Jasper disagreed, "I think he's confident about facing them head-on."

"Don't bullshit me," Nathan retorted. "Most of those humanoid rats are emitting energy fluctuations as strong as aura masters, and I can tell that some are at the same power level as aura grandmasters. That's a considerable force. How can a young man in the first realm possibly win against them?"

Just then, Arlo appeared, having jumped down from the cathedral moments ago. He landed next to them with a confident smile on his face.

"He's no ordinary man," Arlo stated boldly. "Since it's him, anything is possible."

All eyes turned to Arlo in surprise.

"Who is he?" The group of onlookers spoke in unison, curious about the person who was being valued by the Empire's third heavenly knight.

Arlo's smile grew wider as he answered, "He's my nephew."

On the road below, a lone man charged fearlessly towards a raging swarm of rat men. It was a sight to behold.

"I have heard the cries of my people. I have felt their blood spilling to the ground. I have seen children left orphaned and women left widowed. Your crimes are unforgivable!" Roy proclaimed as he raised his hand to pass judgment upon the sinners.

"You all deserve to die!" he declared.

With those words, a surge of darkness erupted from within him, engulfing the entire swarm of tens of thousands of rat men.

Trapped in the darkness, the humanoid rats were slowed to a crawl.

But that was only the beginning.

Every passing second, hundreds of them were shredded into thousands of pieces, their agonized screams piercing the air and leaving no fiber of their being untouched by fear.

In a matter of moments, the once-mighty swarm of humanoid rats was reduced to a mere handful.

"Seriously? They're still alive?" Roy furrowed his brow in frustration as he observed the few survivors of his previous attack. It was highly unusual for them to withstand his wrath, and he was left wondering about the source of their incredible resilience.

Upon inspecting them, Roy discovered that these creatures possessed physical attributes that were on par with an aura grandmaster - from their endurance and defense to their physical strength and regenerative abilities. However, they lacked the sophistication of a true aura grandmaster, with no class weapons or skills and no shred of sanity - making them little more than mindless beasts.

Roy was surprised that Arlo had managed to make such ferocious killing machines fear him simply by releasing his dragon form. He was so fearsome that even maniacs would fear him.

How should I deal with them?

Roy narrowed his eyes and pondered for a moment before deciding to try a new approach.

"Perhaps I can use miracle to fuse my killing intent with Sword Force and create a technique powerful enough to eradicate them," Roy mused as he activated his second soul-herding ability.

A miracle occurred as Roy's killing intent merged with his Sword Force, resulting in a blinding light that transformed the sea of darkness from black to crimson red.

『A new technique was born: the Sea of Death』

You can submerge an entire area in a deadly sea that perfectly replicates the properties of Sword Force and Death Force.

As soon as the sea of darkness completed its transformation, the remaining creatures were swiftly slaughtered and reduced to minuscule pieces, their existence erased without a trace.

Roy withdrew his technique as it was quite taxing.

The onlookers were left in a state of utter shock and awe, their mouths agape as they tried to comprehend the swiftness and thoroughness of the once-ferocious swarm's defeat.

"Whoa! Did you see that? He just wiped out that entire swarm in a matter of seconds! How is that even possible?" Cassius exclaimed, barely able to contain his awe.

Jasper shook his head in disbelief. "That was insane. I've never seen anything like it before. It's like he's tapping into some kind of dark power."

Nathan pondered for a moment before speaking up. "I don't know what to make of it, but one thing's for sure; we're lucky to have him on our side."

Elijah nodded in agreement. "I couldn't agree more. He's a force to be reckoned with. But we have to be careful not to let that power consume him. We need to get a supervisor to keep a close eye on him."

In the empire, it was common practice to assign supervisors to individuals with exceptional skills or strengths. This was done to ensure that these individuals used their abilities in a manner that was beneficial to the empire and did not cause harm to its citizens.

These supervisors were highly trained and skilled individuals themselves, often possessing advanced knowledge of combat techniques, magic, or other skills. They were tasked with monitoring and guiding the actions of those under their supervision, ensuring that they remained loyal to the empire and used their abilities in the best possible way.
