Leveling Endlessly with the Strongest Systemchapter 370: the true face of the summer land!

"Sorry to break it to you, but that isn't the case. It's not that this place isn't filled with monsters and unknown dangers. It's just that I have acted with extreme caution and taken us around them." Roy corrected her.

"There's a limit to how much you should boost, my lord," Delilah said sarcastically. She pointed at her eyes and continued, "I have these. I am not blind. And these eyes haven't caught signs of any monsters since we entered this wilderness."

Roy felt annoyed by the way she was speaking to him. Usually, he wouldn't bother making things clear to her. But this just wasn't one of those times.

"I have a skill that lets me detect monsters as long as they are within a certain distance. And it just so happens that that distance is far greater than your field of vision." Roy said. "There were many monsters along the way, but we didn't have an encounter with a single one because of my skill."

"And what skill is so cheat-like?" Delilah crossed her arms while sitting on Shadowless. It was written on her face that she couldn't digest the truth uttered by Roy. After all, skills like the sixth sense were unheard of. Elves and certain demi-human races possessed supernatural traits that made them innately superior to humans, but the possibility of them having a sixth sense or a sixth eye as strong as Roy's was next to none.

"Its name is Sixth Sense. I will make you believe I have it if an opportunity arises," he said and walked ahead.

"Where are we going next?" she asked after a moment.

"The Fiery Grove near the Sealed Valley."

As expected, his words left her confused.

Where was the Sealed Valley? What was the Fiery Grove? Why don't I know about these places? And why does he know about them when he was rumored to be an ignorant young master who had left the Manor for the first time some months ago?

Delilah gave him the stink eye as she inwardly thought, 'Do you think I am as knowledgeable as you?! And where does your knowledge come from? The sky?!'

When Roy looked at her, he read her mind. Unlike his other maid, she wasn't like an open book, but he was familiar with the expression on her face, and it said everything he needed to know. Although she was curious, she remained silent and nodded, acting as if she knew about the places he mentioned.

Seeing her actions, he smirked, 'She is too prideful to ask me directly to fill the gap in her knowledge. I will have to amuse her myself.'

Roy knew that Delilah wasn't as well informed as him about this realm.

To begin with, wildernesses that were tagged as realms governed by Lords of the West were rarely disclosed to commoners. Although she was beautiful, the fact still remained that she was a commoner with no proper backing. She couldn't get her hand on this information easily even if she wanted to, and it's not like she ever felt the need before today.

Roy had read much about it in the novel. Delilah, on the other hand, was never granted the same opportunity as him.

Anyway, he wasn't one to discriminate against the poor, nor was he the type to look down on the ignorant.

Rather, he took pleasure in illuminating the dull minds.

"The Summer Land is divided into three areas. The first is the mortal village. It's based right below Ashen Mountain, on which cliff my cousin's mansion is located. According to the pact, it's a safe zone for humans. Monsters from the summer land can't enter it, or else they will be offending the lord of this realm. It's also the place that connects to the road that leads to Constantine County and the wilderness of the summer land. The second area is the volcanic wilderness. It's where we are roaming. It's further divided into inner and outer areas. The local aura beasts and their descendants inhabit the inner part, while monsters from outside this realm, also known as outsiders, and local magical beasts live in the outer area. And the place we are going to is a small forest in the outer area." Roy talked to Delilah as gently as a preschool teacher.

She felt a sweet taste in her mouth, hearing his words. Just a moment ago, she seemed to be minding her own business, not expecting him to do such a thing. Who could have thought that he would take the trouble to make things clear to her?

"I see," she uttered. "The village and the wilderness sum up to two of the three areas the summer land is divided into. What about the third one?"

Roy tapped the ground with his feet as if in response to her words.

His actions left her confused.

"It's right below our feet. The third area of the summer land is called the Spiritual Lava Sea, but it's commonly known as Under-Earth. It has the highest density of fire elements. They leak out of it through these crevices and affect the forest. The trees here are like, and their leaves are so red and carry magical properties because of this reason." Seeing that she was bewildered, he pointed at the nearby lava-filled cervix, uttering, "And that is one of the many doors one can use to enter it."

Delilah was shocked by his words. She looked down in surprise, hardly digesting that an entire world with unknown danger and majestic beasts was hidden under this land. It was even weird to consider that all the crevices on the ground of this wilderness were actually doorways that led to the Spiritual Lava Sea. And these doorways were naturally created without the interference of man or beast.

"It's overflowing with lava." Delilah raised her head to look at him, asking him, "Wouldn't we get burned to ashes before we get down there? And who can bypass such a thick and hot layer of lava?"

It didn't seem possible to enter the Spiritual Lava Sea.
