"Did you guys just see that?"

Tevenlor pointed at the wall, revealing its secrets to his new masters.

"This wall's not real, just an illusion that you can't walk through unless every inch of your body is covered in Force. This drawing that you see on it is actually a magic circle drawn in empty air. The illusion that there is an unsurpassable wall here originates from it."

Roy gaped at it in silence. What the fuck was he hearing and seeing?

"Magic circle can be drawn in empty air?!"

Tevenlor replied to Roy, "It's not easy, almost close to impossible."

He raised one finger and added, "One. That's the number of people who could do it. That very person created this. It's so strong that not even Voss could see through it."

Roy scrutinized the painting. He already knew that he couldn't inspect it, but he could at least try to memorize it. Unsurprisingly, even that was hard and life-threatening.

This time, just looking at it gave him a severe headache, made his eyes red, and glued his gaze to it.

Although he wanted to, he couldn't look away from that damn thing!

The stabbing pain in his mind doubled every second his eyes remained on it. He felt as if his head was about to explode.

"Fuck, I am in serious trouble here."

"Don't look at it with the intent to memorize it, or it will bewitch you into learning it, and if you can't, your head will explode."

Tevenlor said that too late as Roy was already bewitched.

The Formless Siren noticed that he was in a trance. His eyes were protruding out of his sockets, threatening to explode. This scared her out of her mind. Although panicked, she realized what was going on.

She tried everything in her power to help her husband escape the bewitchment of the wall, shouting at him and pushing him.

But all her effort was in vain.

Nothing worked.

Thus, she tiptoed, blocking the wall from his sight and placing a kiss on his lips. Roy jolted awake, feeling his woman's softness on his lips and chest. The softness of her breasts and the warmness of her lips were enough to give him a boner. He pushed her away, knowing full well that he would consummate the marriage with her if the two continued to kiss.

"What's your hand doing so close to my face?"

Surprisingly, it looked like Tevenlor was going to slap him. His hand was hanging close to Roy's face.

"Don't do that again."

Tevenlor lowered his hand. Getting slapped into a wall was the fastest to wake up a bewitched person. He would have slapped the shit out of his new master if the Formless Siren had failed to help him.

"Next time, her kiss might not help you against it."

Tevenlor walked into the wall.

Looking at his disappearing back, Roy hurriedly opened his mouth.

"Who is he? Who is the one that created this masterpiece?"

"True Lord Constantine, better known as the Undead Hunter."

Tevenlor's voice came from behind the wall.

True Lord Constantine was the ancestor of the Constantine Family.

He was a famous figure 850+ years ago.

His most noticeable achievement was using the fabric of reality as a paper to draw out magic circles in empty air and fuck the forces of evil, undead skeletons, and whatnot.

"Hurry up and enter it. Behind it lies the safest shortcut to the last trial ground."

Roy still had some unanswered questions. It was better to ask them now than after leaving this chamber with her.

"How do you differentiate between what is real and what is an illusion?"

Tevenlor could see through it and any other illusion because the components used to make his eyes were special and granted him the ability to see through lies. However, he still had an answer for Roy. He was hundreds of years old. He was bound to be wise, having an answer for just about everything.

"Energy is omnipresent. There are different kinds of it. Some you are exposed to. Many you have no idea of. It exists in everyone, be it a negligible stalk of grass or a newborn baby. Only illusions have no energy. A fake landscape will be like a dry, lifeless branch. It will land on your face like a solid slap, but if you remain calm and collected and take a good look at it, you will realize it lacks energy, have no life, and that it is all but fake. The thing is, unless you have a sixth sense, you can't notice that they are giving off energy fluctuations, and that isn't something humans can develop before reaching the grandmaster stage. So prey, you don't match up with an illusion master."

Roy let his words sink into his mind. This new information might very well be his trump card against illusionists.

"I am not only a human!" Roy exclaimed. He already had a sixth sense.

"Stop joking." Tevenlor said to them after a moment, "Let's get going if you have no other questions."

Roy grabbed his wife's hand.

"What should I call you?"

"I don't have a name." She blushed as she said, "Typically, a formless siren is named by her husband after they do the deed. I, too, would like to follow the ancient tradition and be called whatever you name me when we mate."

Mating with her right now wasn't ideal.

Roy could tell that once he began plowing her, he wouldn't be able to stop for a day or two.

So, for now, he had no choice but to call her "Hey," or "You."

"Here, take it." Roy handed something to her.

"This is?" She looked at it and blinked, her large eyelashes fluttering seductively.

Roy gulped. He really wanted to hold her!

"It's a life-saving treasure my cousin gave to me before I entered this place. Crush it now, and you will be teleported to a safe place outside the Ashen Land."

"I am not as weak as you think. You should keep it."

She tried to hand it back to him, but he stubbornly stared at her. He wouldn't be able to fight confidently with her by his side. She needed to be somewhere safe for him to put his entire focus on the upcoming battle.

"This is the first time I am giving you a gift. Don't refuse it. I will feel hurt if you do."

With this, he blackmailed her into holding it.

"Okay, I will keep it." She looked into his eyes with equal stubbornness, "But I won't be leaving this place without you! You can't deny me that."

It was clear that she did rather die than leave his side. She had waited 150 years for him. The idea of leaving him just after meeting him was torturous to her.

Roy frowned and tightened his hold on her as if it were to punish her, but the force he was applying on her hand failed to even turn it red, much less hurt her. He was a dragonkin in love. Hurting her wasn't something he could do until he gained better control over his instinct. "Do as you like."

They walked up to the mysterious wall. Black aura gushed out of Roy, wrapping himself and his wife before condensing into what seemed like a layer of skin. It overlapped with their bodies, coloring them and their clothes black.

"Let's go inside."

Coated in Force, they easily entered it.

"ROOOOOAAAAAAARRRRRR!!!"
