I Hate Systemschapter 871: cc’s concept: dreamcraft

Once the war ended and while he was recovering from the damage, Compass Carburettor got to thinking about what type of power he wanted.

Protect Stencil? Kill the Systems? Eliminate the enemies? Create a safe haven? Live a life unclassed by his opponents?

His answer was: Yes, to all!

Spirit Morph, Punisher Lightning, and his other basic abilities, while potent would be immediately outclassed. After all, his enemies were Systems, possessing billions of Core Skills created by all imaginable concepts.

Even if they lost the war, they possessed all the data regarding it. And once back in the System World, they would analyse the powers and devise countermeasures. They would experiment with the type of Core Skills that affect such abilities and nurture them.

It had to be noted that a System's growth was reliant on the consumption of Mental Energy relevant to its concept. Therefore, if Zaira wished to grow a certain System, she could casually extract the relevant Mental Energy from her reserves and feed this System, quickly making it reach its peak in a matter of minutes.

Moreover, the Grade 2 Systems could even venture forth to hunt for the respective Mental Energy. They would proactively hunt for potential concepts by urging the races under them to fight more, create a grand quest, or bring in new enemies that would force them to evolve in multiple directions.

With multiple races under them, they would play with all the variables to gather various Mental Energies. And Zaira would process them and extract beneficial concepts from them to create more Core Skills.

In that manner, she would quickly come up with a Core Skill that would completely counter his abilities.

Hence, Compass Carburettor was already prepared to never use the mist, Punisher Lightning, and Spirit Morph again, or at least not expect a definite effect when he uses it.

So, he got to thinking of the best means of power that he could possess that not only was strong but was also a singular concept that hadn't been breached by the existing powers yet. And that was dreams.

Even Mystique didn't seem to possess such powers, at least based on what Truck-Kun had told him and what he gained from the information stored in Immortal's Mental Fragments. Even if they trod on that path, they only occupied small areas and didn't wholly venture forth into it.

So, it became his path naturally. If he didn't possess the power of Tell-Tale, this choice wouldn't have been possible. Tell-Tale allowed him to develop his power in a direction he saw fit. And hence, when presented with the chance, he took it.

Using Tell-Tale, he first accessed his own information, and his story and gained that data. And through it, he was able to recreate all his original powers, everything that he possessed as his to date.

Darlac Blade, Warble, Haggon Form, Spirit Form, Anthozoa, Secret Society, Dimensional Space, Mind Toad, Relic, Core Skills like Slave Harem, Info Scanner, Directional Misalignment, the energies like Darlac, Apocalypse Pearl, Permanence, pretty much everything he as Compass Carburettor possessed were brought back through the power of Tell-Tale.

Lore branched his power into different Main Characters. But that was only because of the setting that he had created for himself. His Lore just manifested that as reality.

And since Lore was somewhat similar to Tell-Tale, Compass Carburettor was careful in the settings he used. This time, he used it to access the time when he used the various powers, the Skills, Core Skills, Personal Fragments, System Fragments, etc.

When he used that, at that moment, that power was in his possession. And through Tell-Tale, he manifested it again and turned them into Mental Fragments, storing them in himself.

There were plenty of useful powers in them that he used like pieces of a puzzle to finish his whole picture.

The result was his power, what he symbolised from now on--Dreamcraft!

The experience in him was his treasure trove. Using it, he actuated the dreams of people by influencing their emotions.

The experienced dream would be turned into reality through the power of Reality Marble. The entity there wouldn't be able to break out of it, for their senses would be confused by Directional Misalignment, their bodies stuck by the mist, their powers rendered useless by the Restriction Order, and their luck being siphoned by the place.

A dreamland would be created, a world scape that existed in reality. It didn't settle in the minds like a System but in the dreams. Dreams were unstable, yes, but that was also their charm. They were unstable and chaotic.

They would exist for short durations before crumbling naturally. But yes, even a normal human experiences tens of thousands of dreams throughout their lifetime. So, new ones would crop up soon after.

Like a System that takes root in the mind of a host from the System World, like the virus he created on the battlefield using Arnark's Main Character System fragment, a seed of dream would take root within the target.

A normal human's mind wasn't a stable realm. But the arrival of a System would stabilise it and result in the creation of the mind space.

Similarly, this would result in the creation of a dream space, a place where dreams could be sustained. And similar to how Systems fuse with the body of the Host and hence can affect them, the dreamland does the same.

As for its effect? It makes the target human. This was why the Invader was gradually becoming more and more like a human, physically, mentally, emotionally, and substantially. And the terrifying nature of this power was that it turned the target into a normal, mortal human, like the ones seen on Earth.

Irrespective of what they were before, once they became susceptible to the effects, they would gradually become a normal human.

This seed that creates everything would transmigrate from Compass Carburettor into the target. Remember the single truck he obtained from Truck-Kun? He of course modified it and fused it into his new power, thereby allowing him to target anyone he gazed at.

By fusing the power of Spirit Morph into the truck, he resulted in a means that allowed him to target anyone he saw, one that couldn't be guarded against, for he could evolve them, as he used emotions as the medium when necessary.

At present, he had just used a thought as a medium to target the Invader. But if he wished to make the attack stronger, he would use a strong sense of emotion to act as the medium. And that was where his energy came into effect.

Psyche Star!
