I Hate Systemschapter 770: you dare force me to take action?

"Immortal," Hazen frowned in response; he was the sole living entity standing straight before Immortal. Even the fishes in the sea were prostrating, not taking action.

There was a predator fish that had opened its mouth and was in the midst of swallowing its prey. But even it had stopped and was now prostrating, with the prey in its mouth doing the same, ignoring its survival instincts to take the chance and flee for safety.

Being a Genre Representative meant that every essence of every being in every single world part of the genre was recorded in this entity—Immortal.

Basically, Immortal was a database that had a record of every single organism to have ever walked in a cultivation world, possessing the multitude of power systems, the memories of everyone that had ever lived there, etc.

Omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent, that was Immortal in terms of the cultivation genre. And hence, the moment such a being manifested, every single living creature in the vicinity expressed its submission.

Even the Origin Essence of the Gaider Realm coiled underneath Immortal, like a pet serpent that had submitted itself to its master.

"Don't try to force my hand. I won't participate in a war." Hazen stated without any hesitation, snapping his finger as instantly, all the villagers of Hazen Village were able to get up.

The fishes in the sea nearby resumed their activities and even the Origin Essence returned to normalcy. It was apparent that to a certain extent, at least in the Gaider Realm, Hazen was able to offset Immortal's nature.

"It's only a matter of time before this world is targeted, you know." Immortal said in all seriousness, "You're underestimating the Systems too much."

"The moment I take action and injure them, they would trace the source back to this world." He spoke, "Only the powers of this world allow me to truly harm a System. You should understand that. To prevent me from becoming their threat, they would try everything in their means to destroy this world."

"Then don't take action," Hazen said.

"Are you purposefully trying to anger me?" Veins popped all over Immortal's forehead as he glared at Hazen. Even though they weren't the target, everyone from Hazen Village fainted in response, unable to endure his glare.

If Hazen hadn't defended them, their bodies would have burst instantly.

"I know you're the smartest among all the Main Characters. So, you should know that I cannot be calm when the Systems are constantly stealing my worlds one after another." Immortal was shouting by the end.

"And?" Hazen tilted his head, "Is that my problem?"

"The Gaider Realm and every other Realm connected to it in this cultivation world are under my protection." Hazen said, "I'll ensure this place becomes the most peaceful universe. But that's it. I'm not going to bother myself with the rest of the worlds out there."

His voice resounded with absolute confidence, "As long as I'm here, no System would ever be able to harm the people here."

"Haah!" Immortal sighed as he stared at the sky, focusing as he scanned over the Martial Spirit Realm, staring at the Heaven Divine Martial Spirit to see that it was busy mixing Origin Essence with a mysterious energy originating from the corpse of the first Main Character—Arnark.

The resultant energy was effective in destroying even the Coordinates of a System, which was what Immortal relied upon to fight against the Systems. Though, this power was still incomplete and hadn't become mainstream in Gaider Realm itself.

Therefore, it wasn't at a level where he could wield it against his enemies. At most, it was effective against Hatchling Systems.

The moment the Heaven Divine Martial Spirit noticed his stare, it stopped all actions and bowed in response.

"Maybe I should relocate this world's power to somewhere else," Immortal muttered.

"What?" Hazen was alarmed as he glared at Immortal, "Don't you dare!"

"You do realise you're living in my world, right?" Immortal said, no longer mincing his words, "I can do whatever I want then. Since you're refusing to cooperate with me, then I'll act according to the best of my interests."

"Best of your interests?" Hazen let out a burst of laughter full of mockery, staring at Immortal's offended expression as he spoke slowly, "Is that why you allowed the birth of Systems?"

"What the…" It was Immortal's turn to be stunned now, "How did you know about that?"

"I learnt it from Arnark." Hazen closed his eyes, sighing as he spoke, "Even Compass Carburettor can notice Arnark's presence. It would be a wonder if I can't even sense him."

"Yes, I've been talking with Arnark all along through the Main Character System. And through him, I've learnt a lot of secrets regarding what everyone has been scheming upon." His eyes shot open as Immortal felt stunned, as if all his secrets were laid bare before Hazen, "And I understand that it was because of the conflict between you and Magister that led to the birth of the System World."

"Even if you cannot kill Zaira, the one calling himself as Conjurer could have been killed. You only need to destroy all the worlds under him to erase his existence." Hazen spoke, stepping closer to Immortal as his voice turned cold, "But you didn't, even after knowing that it was thanks to Conjurer that Zaira was able to establish a foothold in various worlds. Without him, Systems would never have been able to level up constantly and grow in terms of genres."

"You allowed the situation to deteriorate to this extent, you, the Genre Representative that was once the strongest entity." Hazen pointed at Immortal, poking him on the glabella, "Even if you couldn't kill them, you could have camped at their spawn point and massacred them without rest. That would have kept their growth at zero."

"Even with all the means at your disposal, you never did that. Guess what?" Hazen smirked derisively, "You were arrogant all along. In the past, even the Grade 4 Systems died from a single sword slash of yours. So you never treated them as a threat, until they gradually consumed you from within."

"And now you dare force me to take action?" Starlight burst out of Hazen as for a moment, his figure seemed to have split into a billion counterparts, "Remember that I'm a System too."

"I can do worse than any Main Character in history could ever hope to achieve."
