I Hate Systemschapter 546: meeting the ex-system hosts

As Gana and Grisha stared in a daze, Gahrat vanished from view as Compass Carburettor frowned in thought.

"It'll be fine, dad." Stencil patted him, "At present, you're entirely you. But in the Cultivation World, I wasn't sure if the person I was talking to was my dad or not, since it seemed like there were other characters in you."

"And every time you did something concrete, this sense of you becoming a different individual continued to increase." Stencil said, sighing in relief at the end, "But, the current you is the dad I know."

"Haha," Hearing her words, his confusion vanished entirely, now no longer looking at the current issue as a problem. Instead, he felt that it was better.

Once they split, each of them could proceed on their respective path. And as Main Characters, all of them would fight against the Systems one way or another.

As for him, being with his daughter was all he ever wanted until now. Moreover, he wished to be himself in front of her and not some entity akin to a deity that his daughter couldn't be comfortable with.

That wasn't what he wanted. After all, from the start, his goal had been the same: his daughter.

Besides, to a great extent, he wasn't afraid of Systems. After all, the strongest offensive against the Systems was possessed by him.

"Sorry guys." Compass Carburettor turned around, apologising to Rhizen and Immortal that had been staring silently all along. "There's a lot of confusion within me at this point."

"It's not easy being the Main Character." Immortal nodded, saying, "But, I feel like you've already surpassed every other Main Character by this point, just with the fact that there's four of you now."

'Yeah, through Lore, I'll be able to create more like Hazen and Gahrat.' Compass Carburettor thought, nodding in response, 'This level of potential is unmatched indeed.'

After all, in every world he entered, he would gradually develop a Lore there that would birth a new individual of himself. He wasn't yet entirely assured of the way to achieve that but was aware that he indeed had the power to do so.

"Ugh…" Straxia grunted, hearing a ringing sound blaze off in her mind as she felt an intense migraine, gradually coming to her senses as she got up.

Even though she was at Stage 7 at the moment, when Hazen entered, none of them was able to do anything and fell victim to his power.

Her eyes gradually adjusted, allowing her to make out her surroundings, staring at the figure of Compass Carburettor standing a couple of metres away from her.

She sighed, getting up as she said weakly, "If you still bear hatred towards me, you can kill me as many times as you need."

"Why should I do that?" Compass Carburettor smiled in response, "You'll become the vanguard against Systems, right?"

"They'll kill you more than enough times."

"…" Straxia didn't comment on that further as she looked at Rhizen, "How's it coming along?"

"Don't you feel the changes yourself?" Rhizen snapped back.

Straxia didn't seem offended by his tone, closing her eyes as she could feel that her mind seemed clearer than usual, stating after a moment of thought, "All System influences in me have been eradicated?"

"Yep," Compass Carburettor nodded, watching the others get up one after another. And the moment they stared at him, they flinched in response.

After all, a good number of them had been brutally destroyed by him.

"Compass…" Ianon muttered, feeling complex emotions as he stared at Compass Carburettor. Had he only remembered the previous loop, then he would have felt hatred at the other party.

But, Rhizen used his powers to make them recall everything. And hence, he remembered everything that he had done in the past few loops, quite a few of which were horrifying. So, he couldn't say anything to Compass Carburettor that had only betrayed him.

Moreover, the fact of the matter was that most of them here had tried to kill Rhizen countless times.

So, it wasn't as if the atmosphere was harmonious.

Compass Carburettor looked around, recalling the faces of everyone, staring at Chenger seated at one corner, her mood foul as she glared at the others from time to time.

He then frowned, looking at Rhizen as he said in confusion, "Two people are missing."

"Where's Shyvern and Gallo?"

"Gallo never revived." Rhizen said, sighing in response, "It seems there are ways to permanently kill us even without turning us into System Slayers. And Critical Luck had done that."

"There was one…good guy and he's dead?" Compass Carburettor muttered as the air around him gradually turned volatile as the hisses of snakes and the roars of dragons resounded in a chaotic symphony.

A formidable aura emanated from him, startling the ex-system Hosts, causing their legs to tremble in response as they felt they were staring at a prehistoric predator.

But a couple of seconds later, the oppressive aura vanished as Compass Carburettor controlled himself. He then looked at Rhizen, "What about Shyvern?"

"Chenger killed him." Rhizen smiled wryly.

"Well, she has every right to kill him as many times as she wants." Compass Carburettor didn't mind about that much. He then controlled himself, staring at the ex-System Hosts, stating with a cold tone, "The past is the past. And now that we're all on the same side, let's set aside our differences."

"As I have explained…" Rhizen said, "You'll all help me in spreading Nacre around and if possible, try to gain ownership of it before this loop ends."

"And until then, prepare everything that I've told you about. We'll need a detailed plan of action."

After saying his speech, he exited the room, sighing after walking a fair distance away, "We've developed a lot of grudges in the past 48 loops. So, it's not something that could be solved easily."

"Well surprisingly, Straxia is as enthusiastic as Dwun." Compass Carburettor said.

"Yeah, that's in her nature." Rhizen nodded, "Her curiosity prevents her from focusing on grudges and the likes. And it's not like she feels remorse for anything she has done in the past."

"She's a strange woman."
