I Hate Systemschapter 503: angel and demon

Chapter 503 Angel and Demon

"Create a small gap in the chains." Compass Carburettor said the moment Rhizen exited the mind space, turning physical.

"Alright, give me a moment." Rhizen nodded and began to concentrate on his power.

"I'll be waiting for you," Grisha said with a gentle smile.

"It won't take long." Compass Carburettor replied as he sensed the chains on his Dimensional Space weakening for a moment when he snapped his fingers, sending Grisha into the Dimensional Space.

Immediately after, the Dimensional Space was sealed up, preventing him from using his abilities.

Grisha was basically an extension of himself, an extension of the Main Character. And hence, she too would have to die for the Grade 2 Systems watching over the Cultivation World to be assured of his death.

And, if she were to be killed here, her death would be permanent. He didn't wish to lose her, and hence, sent her into the Dimensional Space.

This way, he could fool the Grade 2 Systems better, since only he had to die. And, he had already prepared a revival means from the very beginning.

Now, his objectives were pretty simple: Kill the remaining eight System Hosts and die at the hands of Straxia.

This way, the information of his death would be sensed by the Grade 2 Systems, preventing any other chase in the future.

As long as they become unaware of his revival, he could have a peaceful life in the future. After all, he wished to provide a stable life for Stencil, not a life where they had to constantly be in hiding.

Besides, she was no longer a child. Stencil was around 28 years old now and hadn't yet experienced a proper life. So, he wished to give her that stable life women her age ought to experience.

Even though he desperately wanted to see her, he controlled his impulse. If he brought out Stencil now, the watching Grade 2 Systems might sense something amiss. Whether or not this would happen, he didn't wish to raise the risk barrier too high.

He could see his daughter peacefully after a year, "One more year."

"I'll die and then become free." He sighed, watching Rhizen fall asleep on the floor due to exhaustion. Shaking his head, he sat a couple of metres away, meditating to consolidate his power.

After all, the armies of the remaining eight System Hosts were about to invade the Gaider Realm shortly after.

Hovering in the trenches of space were two humanoid entities, a demon, and an angel. They were Grade 2 Systems, representing the Demon System and Angel System.

Grade 2 Systems worked in terms of races. They'll typically target a race and spread around, proliferating through the masses. Everyone born from that particular race after that would be System Hosts.

Currently, the Demon System controlled three worlds. And all the Demons from these three worlds were its System Hosts. They typically invaded the other worlds. And even in their world, they had a levelling-type power system.

It was a simple power mechanism. Demons were born at level 1. And, if they were to kill a Demon, they would absorb the System Fragment within the killed entity, which would result in them levelling up.

So, the higher the level, the greater the System Fragment in their body. It was a simple progression. And, if someone reached a high enough level, they would share the closest relationship with the Demon System, sometimes even able to influence its decisions.

Of course, it would also be that they were becoming more and more like the Demon System.

The entity that had arrived in space was someone that bore a quarter of the Demon System in its body, the strongest of its race—concerning the three worlds the Demon System controlled.

In their world, this demon was addressed as the Demon God, a pinnacle power that was unrivalled in strength.

And standing next to it was the representative of the Angel System, also possessing a quarter of the Angel System.

It was these two Grade 2 Systems that were keeping an eye on the Cultivation World.

"It's pretty boring." The Demon System muttered, "I could have invaded your world at least once in this time."

"You were beaten up pretty badly the last time you did that." The Angel System laughed, "Just give up on the notion of invading my world. You're better off invading some human worlds that aren't under the control of a Grade 2 System."

"You can convert them into Demons and strengthen yourself further."

"What makes you think I'm not doing it already?" The Demon System snorted, "My armies are invading countless worlds and turning their native race into Demons. But, when Demons kill Angels, we can absorb your power and grow the strongest."

"The same's true for us too." The Angel System shook its head, "In that notion, all of us Grade 2 Systems can eat up each other and strengthen ourselves. We aren't limited by Genres like the Grade 1 Systems."

"Still, I was excited to see the birth of a Grade 2 Luck System." The Demon System said, licking its lips, "And judging by their progression, the Luck Systems are steadily suppressing the Main Character."

"Destiny Luck and Coincidental Luck are still the dominating factors. Even after it was killed, Destiny Luck is still the strongest after it had pervaded into the bodies of the surviving System Hosts." The Angel System spoke in interest, "And as they continue to die, the final survivor would inherit the luck of everyone."

"If things progress at this rate, the moment they kill the Main Character, the Grade 2 Luck System might be born automatically."

"It'll be fun to have it enter our circle." The Demon System laughed, "With luck on our side, we can create an insanely lucky race. That would hasten our invasion of the untamed worlds."

"But, those Gods are still troublesome, especially Mystique." The Angel System said, shuddering in fear, "Only a Grade 3 or 4 System can face Mystique."

"Let's not talk about Mystique, shall we?" The Demon System massaged its forehead, feeling a headache, "We'll first target Immortal. Considering our progress, it won't be long before Immortal dies out after all cultivation worlds fall under our control."
