Chapter 335: I’ll Pay You Twice

"What happened?" Grisha entered his Dimensional Space, asking as she noticed Gana too appear there.

The two were startled to see that the Dimensional Space had become empty as everything that was there before had now vanished. There were still the five hills and the respective mutated beasts, but other than that, everything else had disappeared.

"The island…and Stencil…" Grisha muttered, tearing up as she understood just how much Stencil meant to Compass Carburettor. Whenever he got a moment's free time, he spent it with her.

"We'll rescue my daughter." Right as she was fretting over, she heard an exhausted, but resolute Compass Carburettor's voice.

"But first, I must cure you." He said, activating System Punishment. As he was able to sense everything within the Dimensional Space, he brought the two ladies within. This was the only way he would be able to purify them.

After all, within Grisha's body was the System Fragment of the Remembrance System while in Gana's body was the Beast Form System.

Right at this time, ten needle spheres hovered in the air within the Dimensional Space. They were the coordinates from the Systems he had.

Slave Harem, Info Scanner, Directional Misalignment, Reality Marble, Night Ranger, Young Master, Villain Maker, and three other Systems. Altogether, he had 10 Systems. And adding onto the two in Grisha and Gana, he had hunted a total of 11 Systems since Info Scanner was a gift from Coincidental Luck.

Though, based on possession alone, he also had to include Permanence, which resulted in a grand total of thirteen Systems.

The needle spheres were coordinates, the purest form of Mental Energy without holding any concept. They were what he called Coordinates.

The Coordinates from Permanence System had already fused into his Dimensional Space. And now, the remaining ten too slowly fused into it, strengthening all his three Personal Fragments and basic abilities.

Though, the strengthening wasn't by much, at least not enough to close the gap to the strength he possessed when he had all his Core Skills.

As he focused on Grisha and Gana, he was slowly able to perceive the Systems in their mind. As he was no longer plagued by Systems and having turned into a genuine fragment of the Main Character System, he could sense the figures of the Systems in them, targeting them using System Punishment, eradicating them one after another.

Dota stared at the scene in shock, watching its ability being put to use in such a terrifying way to annihilate enemies that it never thought was possible to kill.

After all the Systems in their mind had been eradicated, it was the Beast Form System and Remembrance System's turn. They were pretty helpless against him, getting eradicated eventually as two Coordinates floated out from Grisha and Gana's bodies.

"No, fuse into them." Compass Carburettor commanded, watching the Coordinates do as told.

The two ladies slumped on the floor, losing all the powers that they obtained recently, gazing around in shock, failing to understand just what was happening.

"Grisha, can you remember what happened in your previous life?" He asked.

"I can…remember." Grisha experienced a mild headache but as she tried to recall things, her memories returned.

'I see, the memories exist since they're in her mind. Mind Path, huh.' He sighed in relief before telling her, "That's good."

He then ignored the questions from the two helpless women, closing his eyes as he slowly collated his thoughts, condensing his Status.

"I'm a Spirit now…" He sighed, noticing the difference. Before, he was a Haggon and was able to attain a Spirit Form through his Warble. But now, he had become a Spirit that was able to turn into a Haggon.

There was a functional difference between the two variations, with the primary aspect being that what he could do through Secret Society before was no longer necessary.

In the Darble World, each Spirit possessed a mysterious ability. And, his ability was to Bestow his powers to those part of Secret Society.

As he had Skills and Core Skills, they polluted him, preventing his ability as a Spirit from wholly manifesting. Before, he was only able to Bestow Skills, Core Skills, and Personal Fragments. But, that wasn't what his ability was.

He could Bestow anything in his possession. That was the true version of his ability as a Spirit. There were no restrictions.

The second aspect that changed with him now was the Stars. Before, it reflected the total number of Core Skills he could possess. But now, it displayed the total number of Coordinates in his possession.

And after gaining ownership, the Coordinates acted as an extension of his body. Now, Grisha and Gana were considered as two of the 13 possible Stars he could possess.

This pretty much meant one thing: He could bring them with him to any world he pleased through his Dimensional Space.

After all, they were considered extensions of his body.

Moreover, after the Coordinates fused into their bodies, they stopped being human, having already turned into Spirits. He had Bestowed them the race of Spirits, causing them to turn into that.

And, they also were able to turn into a Haggon now. Moreover, Compass Carburettor didn't stop at that, Bestowing them all his abilities, causing them to possess all the powers that he wielded.

Even though Compass Carburettor had lost a lot thanks to his decision, he had also gained a lot. And that was the fact that as long as he obtained enough Coordinates, he could either fuse them into himself to strengthen himself further or use them to create more Stars like Grisha and Gana.

"Are the both of you ready?" He asked them, trying his best to not show his worries.

"You can count on us, Compass," Grisha said.

"Lord Gahrat, you don't need to ask me. I'm beyond happy to be of service." Gana said, feeling a mysterious power well up within her.

"Thank you." He nodded, watching Grisha condense a portal and enter it. Using her as the destination, he condensed a portal and arrived at a grassland, sending Grisha within his Dimensional Space as he had already covered himself with the Mental Energy Body Layer, appearing strangely terrifying as compared to before.

He slowly walked towards Ianon, saying, "Listen, I'll pay you twice for the trip's cost."

"Please bring me to your world."
