Shyvern and a couple other people sat in a room, watching everything that was being transmitted to them by 'Chenger'. It was using her eyes as the point of view, sending everything that she witnessed.
They saw the point of view slowly move through a flight of stairs before arriving at Rhizen's home. 'Chenger' seemed to be contemplating something as she sat in the same place for a couple of hours.
The screen displayed everything she witnessed 24x7, so Shyvern only saw them occasionally. But, he ensured that one of them was always there to see the things that were being shown.
And now, it was his turn. As nothing happened, he was bored. But, it wasn't as if he could talk with 'Chenger' either. Having a means of communication would only risk the operation since he had a clear idea of Rhizen's means to use Luck.
He didn't know of the existence of the Coincidental Luck System though. Or the same for the other System Hosts travelling with him either. All he knew was the fact that the ones travelling with him had mysterious powers that his System told him that it had prepared.
So in his mind, they were pawns created by his System to help in his endeavour. The other System Hosts too were given similar excuses by their respective Systems. So in the end, they worked without any problems.
As he continued to watch, the screen suddenly vanished, startling him, "Was she killed?"
"No, that doesn't seem likely." Shyvern frowned, thinking of another possibility as he scowled, "To think she betrayed us, despite her acting cocky of her abilities."
He wasn't angry though, having expected such problems to arise. His opponent was an insanely lucky person. So, it was already surprising that Shyvern was able to kidnap the actual Chenger and send in a fake by his side.
'So, this is how his luck is countering my actions, huh.' Shyvern took in a deep breath, exhaling once, 'I see, his luck always works in his favour. And now, Rhizen has gained a powerful ally that would secretly protect him in the dark.'
He sighed, massaging his forehead before grinning in excitement, "Good, if it wasn't this difficult, my rage wouldn't be satiated. It would be worth it when I reign victorious."
…
"Compass, are you sure about this?" Grisha spoke through telepathy, "I feel like this is a dangerous time to take action."
"Precisely because it's dangerous that they won't be expecting me to take the initiative in this situation." Compass Carburettor replied.
"Alright, I'm luring over Dwun then," Grisha said before sending out a palm-sized Spydragon. "There's a good chance we won't be able to use this tactic in the future."
"It'll be worth it." Compass Carburettor said.
Grisha controlled the Spydragon, causing it to slither out of the building she was hiding within and fly in a certain direction. Suddenly, once it passed by a certain building, grass jutted out of the building at an alarming rate before turning into the figure of Dwun.
Upon seeing the Spydragon fly away in a hurry due to the commotion, Dwun grinned, "Let me see if you taste good this time."
Saying so, he kicked the ground and began to run at terrific speeds, showing zero restrains that a fleshly body out to have. As he was a Grassmen now, he didn't have such weaknesses.
Moreover, he had been fighting and devouring other Grassmen now, having already grown four horns as a result, surpassing the racial limit, for it didn't apply to him. He did obtain interesting Grassmen powers, really appreciating this choice, one that allowed him to fight a lot without worries.
As he continued to chase after the Spydragon, Grisha's body was carried by the ant queen that ran through the tunnels underground, keeping up pace. After all, there was a limit to how far she could control the Spydragon for.
She hadn't reached Transcendence yet and her 1000 Darlac would run out quickly once the distance surpassed her limit as a Puppeteer. So, the ant queen was carrying her through the tunnels to keep pace.
Grass strands flew across, intending to catch the Spydragon that deftly swerved in the air, evading all of Dwun's efforts. But, this only served to excite him like a child as he chased after it.
They travelled for a couple dozen kilometres in such a fashion as Dwun didn't even break a sweat. If he was a bit tired, roots would jut out of his legs and pierce the ground, absorbing the nutrients from within that acted as food for him, replenishing his energy needs.
"Strange, where did it disappear off to now?" He was surprised to see it move behind a wall and vanish. It was just in time when he was replenishing his energy.
Surprised, Dwun looked all around, unable to find any traces of it. But, just as he activated his detection methods, he came across a group of individuals within a nearby building. "Hmm, what are they doing here?"
It was a mansion situated in the centre of a farmland, probably the owner of a massive plantation. When Dwun observed them through his detection method, his heart thumped, causing him to become excited all of a sudden, "This feeling…"
He recalled the figure of Ianon, remembering what the other party had said, "Devils…"
"Hahaha! So many preys! What a great day to be alive!" Laughing in response, he forgot about the Spydragon for the time being and shot towards the building, directly breaking the wall as he pounced upon the nearest person, killing him instantly.
'These are just your usual thugs.' Dwun nodded, flashing through the hallway as he slaughtered through them and quickly moved through the place.
Suddenly, all the thugs that he killed turned into marble and dissipated. Immediately after, the same group of thugs exited from the nearby rooms, surrounding him.
But, this only made Dwun excited, "Interesting ability you have there."
The group of thugs whipped up their guns and shot at him, only to be met with Dwun's laughter.
"Interesting! This is fun! Hahaha!" He casually killed them again as one of his roots bored through the ground, continuously sucking up nutrients that allowed him to fight without wasting any energy or becoming tired.
