Crack! C-Crackle! Kaboom!
A tentacle squeezed in through a crack as an eye popped out from its end. The eyeball looked around before focusing on the energy-condensed form of Zaira that had just recovered. Tiny creaks spread out from the crack as the tentacle widened in girth, applying pressure on the edges of the universe boundary along the crack.
Before soon, the tiny cracks caused large fragments of the universe boundary of the System World to fly out as soon enough, a massive hole was created, enough for a quarter of Technocraft's body to enter.
The world-devouring beast opened its mouth and began to suck in the Mental Energy of the System World voraciously, alarming Zaira who retaliated.
Dozens of Grade 3 Core Skills were activated to send Technocraft flying out and successfully patch the crack.
Zaira couldn't even get a moment's breather because Mascot was still within the System World. By now, the truck he had arrived at was no more, having escaped to some other place.
Cheat—Infinite Mana!
Mascot suddenly ramped up his powers and activated another ability, pouring in a torrent of mana into the patched crack.
Zaira didn't understand what he was doing, but that didn't mean she intended to wait and see. She activated a Grade 2 Core Skill and transformed into a titan to kick Mascot away. Right as she intended to neutralise the mana with an energy medium that ran counter to it, she stared in a fluster as the mana began to revolve.
It formed a magic circle that lit up softly before soon, the patch melted, revealing the large crack once again.
Roar!
Technocraft's world-devouring beast body squeezed through the crack as thousands of heads shot out, intending to devour her. As Zaira evaded the attacks, the Reincarnation System worked together with the Genre Representatives to face the remainder of Technocraft's body.
He was going strong, attacking both sides. On Zaira's side, he mainly worked on distracting her while creating opportunities for Mascot to truly injure Zaira.
Boom!
The Astral Network solidified for a second as both Regression and Transmigration System jumped out, ganging up on Technocraft. For a moment, they pressured him enough that his attacks on Zaira weakened.
But that wasn't for long as magic circles began to appear one after another, everywhere in the void. And soon, magical typhoons were generated en masse, washing out all the Genre Representatives.
"Hahaha! This is so fun!" Magister arrived at the scene, laughing as he resembled a maniacal grand magician that had made a profound discovery and was too excited to control himself.
His staff shone brightly as a grand magic circle structured with more than a hundred layers of magic circles formed. Torrential mana gushed into it as a large hand jutted out and aimed for the Reincarnation System.
Boom!
The attack was so fast that for a moment, even the Reincarnation System wasn't able to react, despite possessing authority over time. Magister had unleashed a time-based attack through that giant hand. But the source wasn't through the concept of Time but generated through a combination of a million other magic forms that the resultant effect was no different from employing the concept of time.
Grand mages were capable of creating spells that affected time, like de-ageing, sending a memory to the past or future, etc. Magister was the culmination of that. As a result, he was able to unleash abilities that resembled effects unleashed through the concept of Time.
This was why Zaira wasn't flustered when Ahjar gained the concept of Space. Because Technocraft was similar. The natives in his world had many means through which they traversed space, most of which didn't even rely upon the concept of Space.
Some spacecraft travelled beyond the speed of light that the fabric of space itself warped to allow travel over distances millions of light years in a matter of days or months. This was simply attained through speed. There were many other ways to unleash effects similar to the concept of Space without employing the concept.
So, Zaira thought that as long as she devoured Technocraft, she would be able to use this method to substitute the concept of Space and allow Slayer—the Representative System—to reclaim his seat as a Grade 4 System.
Of course, Magister hadn't been able to unleash abilities that affected time for a long course of his battles. The reason was simple: Zaira targeted worlds with such methods.
Therefore, once the foundation of such worlds weakened, Magister simply was unable to unleash such attacks. He had long since fallen off from his peak.
But the situation now was different as Magister felt strength surging in him with every passing minute. His weakened worlds were gradually growing in strength.
Compass Carburettor was working behind the scenes to make Magister's worlds devour Grade 1 Systems en masse, allowing Magister to slowly but surely approach recovery. Eventually, he might attain his peak.
This was the primary reason why the Genre Representatives intended to support the Main Character System. For, such an action could only be performed by the Main Character.
Of course, Arnark never helped them. And now, in an era without the Main Character System, despite having been antagonised by the very same Genre Representatives many times, Compass Carburettor was realising their long-cherished wish.
The cause was entirely different from what one might expect. It wasn't because they were allies. It wasn't out of a sense of respect or repaying goodwill. No, it was only because Compass Carburettoe wanted someone strong enough to hold back the Systems long enough for him to get his things done.
That was all!
If one thought about it, the irony was strong here. Magister and Mascot were receiving their greatest help from the individual they had betrayed time and again for stupid, indecisive reasons.
As the Magic Worlds recovered one after another, Magister's strength continued to climb. As a result, the three Genre Representatives—Magister, Mascot, and Technocraft—were able to fight toe to toe against the combined collective of Zaira, Regression, Reincarnation, Transmigration, and the remaining Genre Representatives.
Honk!
Truck-Kun joined the battle as tens of thousands of trucks arrived alongside, transporting people that oozed a suffocating power.
Mascot's Cheat Wielder Army!
"What a day to be alive," Shen Ze smiled as he churned the Immortal Energy in his body, empowered by the Cheat he received from Mascot as he condensed a massive palm that turned a weak Genre Representative into a bloody mist.
