"Everyone! We're waging a war against the Systems!" Mascot shouted as she riled up her army, also bringing with her any talented and enthusiastic native from her various worlds. Plenty of ambitious natives wished to fish in troubled waters and make a name for themselves while also gaining a stronger power.
Mascot embodied Cheats. Therefore, as long as they proved themselves through war and caught her eye, they would be granted a worthy Cheat. Everyone's desire was painfully obvious, but Mascot also desired that.
After all, if her people used her Cheats to rampage around and make their effectiveness more known throughout the multiverse, it would directly strengthen her further. It was also why she had actively fought against the Systems.
But of course, most of her collective consciousnesses were pretty beta in nature. Therefore, she couldn't truly stick to the task, pulling out after some time in every war. The edgy collective consciousnesses were less stable and hence, they couldn't reign as Mascot for long.
"So, Mystique, I was wondering if…" Mascot turned around after her announcement, intending to consult something with Mystique, noticing in surprise that the latter had vanished, "So, he left already."
She then noticed a tiny star nearby, holding a faint amount of Mental Energy. Mascot touched it and heard Mystique's voice, "I'll be watching from the side. I don't like interruptions, so I'll ensure the Systems won't be able to influence your decision by affecting your worlds."
"Is he going to target them all?" At this point, Mascot smiled, snapping her fingers as a truck arrived at a stop beside her.
The driver within groaned in tiredness as he smelled horribly thanks to all the sweat he had accumulated while not showering for decades.
"You…need to take a bath," Mascot calmly pinched her nose before pointing at the army, "Can you transport them to the System World?"
"I can even bring them inside the System World." Truck-Kun said in confidence, "I have the means to enter and leave the System World. Zaira would of course notice my actions, but she can't block me when distracted by other stuff."
…
"Okay…I am here." The Harem System sighed in relief upon arriving at the System World. It was slightly nervous at first, but upon seeing that nothing happened to its existence, it relaxed.
The reason for its nervousness was that it was no longer on Zaira's side. Yes, it had defected, not by choice though.
Universe Weapon—Ring of Secrecy: Secret Society!
Compass Carburettor had turned it into a member of Secret Society and made it return to the System World. It wasn't alone though as plenty among the Grade 1 Systems had been made into members.
And, their primary purpose was to lay down the groundwork necessary for Truck-Kun to arrive at the System World.
…
"Great! Send us all there!" Mascot grinned in excitement as she patted Truck-Kun's back, "Send us to the part of the System World that has been damaged by Technocraft. We'll poke a way through the System World's barrier and allow him to send his army into the System World too."
"It'll be hard to do this a second time though." Truck-Kun said, "Zaira will be more alert after this."
"It's fine…" Mascot was just raging to join in the chaos as most of the edgy collective consciousnesses in her were raring to have a go.
In the meantime, Compass Carburettor arrived at one of Mascot's worlds and reverted to his original appearance.
Universe Weapon—Suit of Mortality!
The suit masked his presence, making him appear no different to a mortal. His concept of Mortality allowed him to appear no different to a mortal, but the Suit of Mortality amplified this to the extreme that even major Genre Representatives would be fooled.
His figure vanished as Compass Carburettor entered the room of an Adventurer in the Adventure Guild where the strongest human in the world was seated.
"Who are…" The strongest adventurer wasn't even able to complete his sentence when Compass Carburettor grabbed him by his left hand, and activated the ring worn there.
Universe Weapon—Ring of Secrecy: Secret Society!
The adventurer became a member of Secret Society, unable to offer even an iota of resistance. Following that, Compass Carburettor forcefully turned all the elites of this world into members of Secret Society.
Unlike the previous Secret Society, the powers of the current Secret Society were on a whole other level. First of all, was the universality of their nature. Meaning, their powers would be effective against all power systems.
To make that possibility a reality, he employed a power system that was ever present, just like Mental Energy that is generated and empowered by thoughts.
Darlac!
The energy used in the first world he had entered and also the birthplace of Secret Society.
Currently, the Darble World had been transformed into a ring that became the Ring of Secrecy. Therefore, Compass Carburettor modified its laws to generate a power system that all members of Secret Society could possess and use to execute his commands.
First was a real-time sharing of thoughts. Of course, as it wasn't empowered by a concept, the range was just the world they were within. But, even that was more than enough for the purpose they were intended for.
After all, as long as they were able to communicate with the members in their respective worlds and coordinate, they would be able to execute their missions.
But, that was where their question arose. The SSS-Rank Adventurer, the strongest in the world stared at Compass Carburettor and asked in confusion, "What…should we do?"
"Eradicate all the Systems active in this world." Saying so, Compass Carburettor vanished, "Fret not, only Grade 1 Systems will be coming here. As long as you plan enough before taking action, you'll succeed. Use the template memory to base your choices."
Boom!
A torrent of memories surged into the SSS-Rank Adventurer, detailing Compass Carburettor's life in the Darble World as he schemed against the Slave-Harem System and ended up killing it in the end.
The entire sequence was present in the memories, not glossing over even a single existence, including the birth of Secret Society. There was no risk in revealing this to them, since they were members of Secret Society.
No external powers could remove that aspect from their existence. This he was absolutely confident about.
