Even though Growth had reached Level 9, the summons it was applied to were their original size.

"Go wild."

After summoning two on his hands, he dropped them onto the stronghold.

'...'

'Chuu!'

He was filled with excitement as he released an Insect and Beast H summons, with Growth 9.

Plop

Plop plop

Plop plop plop

They each used their Awakened Skills, multiplying to 100 and raining on the stronghold.

They all fell through the large hole left by Cecile's Extra Skill [Small Meteor].

The Insect H summons used their Special Skill [Hop] to kick off B Rank monsters, making them explode. While the Beast H summons used [Run] to body slam monsters onto the walls.

The 200 summons wreaked havoc inside the stronghold.

(Nothing can stop them now.)

They were also part of Allen's experiments with Growth Level 9.

[Summons under Growth Level 9]

-Only one summon of a type can be under Growth Level 9

-Sacred Bead Points are needed

-Two stats reach 30000, the rest are a random number below

-Blessings grant 400 of two stats

-All stats increase by 10000 with Kingship

-All stats increase by 5000 with Command

(I guess Kingship and Command don't raise stats more because of some cap. Either way, I'll really need to get more Sacred Bead Points soon.)

Allen felt like each rank had a cap on how high stats could go, but Command and Kingship could raise that a little more.

[Number of Sacred Beast Points needed to use Growth Level 9]

-Same number as Magic Stones needed for summons

-Insect and Beast 1 Point, Bird 3 Points, Grass 5 Points

Quite a lot of Sacred Bead Points would be needed to have one of each summon.

There were still party members without Sacred Beads, so he did not want to needlessly turn them into more Sacred Bead Points, so he only tried it with Insect and Beast summons.

So far he had an Insect H, Beast H, Beast G, Insect B, and Insect A with Growth Level 9.

Other than the Beast G summon could multiply into more, so they were useful for this battle.

Having Sacred Beasts as summons gave him access to Sacred Beads, so he really wanted to obtain at least one more.

"You go too. Don't leave a single one alive."

'Chitter chatter'

'Chitter chatter'

An Kingship Insect A summon, and a Command Insect B summon also created Beelings and little Alipons and went to attack the Demon King's Army.

Things went on like that for an hour.

'Gnghh…Demon King…'

A Demon general, the boss of the stronghold, lay in front of them.

In just one hour Allen had gotten to the depths of the stronghold and defeated the boss.

Allen wanted to interrogate the Demon General, but the fight was too short for that.

'You defeated 1 Demon General. You obtained 1 Talent Change Point. Your Level has reached 113. Strength + 125, Mana + 200, Attack + 70, Endurance + 70, Agility + 130, Intelligence + 200, Luck + 130.'

(Nice nice, it's all going up. Oh? I also got a Talent Change Point.)

Allen needed at least 100 Talent Change Points to give everyone 5 Star Talents, excluding Allen and Kurena.

Allen felt like the divine realm was making him collect various Points lately, but that was similar to hunting for collectibles, so he would find them all, as that was part of any adventure.

Allen looked at his updated stats in his Grimoire.

(Attack only got up by a little bit like always. But at least there's a nice bump in Luck.)

He had been researching what all his stats did, since their effects became more stark now.

Luck never stood out a lot compared to the other stats, but after looking into it he found it was important as well.

(Even though enemies don't drop random items after all.)

In games Luck would improve his chance at making enemies drop some items.

But in this world items were directly looted from the bodies of enemies.

But Luck still existed. Allen wanted to know what it did, conducting various experiments.

[Effects of Luck and Intelligence]

-Intelligence: Makes it harder to be affected by higher level debuffs

-Luck: Chance of fully avoiding high level debuffs. Also gives dodge chance for enemy attacks

None of the debuffs used by the Demon King's Army affected Allen's group.

Aromatic Vegetables helped, but Luck also played a role.

"Alright, we got the Demon General. Time to clean up the monsters outside."

They regrouped with Kurena riding on Haku, and Merle inside Tam-Tam, and killed the monsters outside.

With everyone gathered that did not take very long.

Before the 3 hour mark the 100000 monsters were gone.

Allen went to meet with the generals, as well as Admiral Galara and the Hero Helmios.

"It seems we succeeded in exterminating them. Are the armies doing alright?"

"Yes, we suffered next to no losses. It went well."

"It was actually easier than I thought."

The sun was about to reach its highest point. They were glad to be free before lunch.

"So, what will we do next?"

Cecile asked Allen.

"We'll take a break for lunch, then go take over another stronghold during the afternoon."

(3pm should be a good time. It'll only be 2 strongholds in a day though.)

"You never change, do you? Can everyone else keep up with that?"

"I expected as much from Allen. I'll tell my people to take a lunch break then."

"Hmm, right. I'll go talk with my troops."

Helmios and Galara would match Allen's pace, the fight would keep going.

***

Five days passed like that.

All the bases fell faster than he thought, and there were plenty of Demon Generals.

Allen's Level reached 125 in the end.

'I'm the Demon Great General tasked with Ramonhamon's duty…'

The enemy could not finish his sentence, Makris' attack killing him instantly.

'You defeated 1 Demon Great General. You obtained 5 Talent Change Points. Your Level has reached 130. Strength + 750, Mana + 1200, Attack + 420, Endurance + 420, Agility + 780, Intelligence + 1200, Luck + 780.'

"Somehow it feels like you're the only one getting stronger now."

As Allen basked in the list of increases to his stats Cecile looked at the Grimoire too.

Allen had told the party in the Academy how there was no limit to his Levels, but he needed 100 times the Experience. Back then Cecile thought that was horrible, but now she was jealous.

"I guess. But we never know how strong the enemy will be, so the stronger I get the better."

Allen still believed his Level needed to be higher.

(Though Kurena, Shea, and Haku all reached their Level cap.)

All of them had reached Level 99.

"So we succeeded. We exterminated the Demon King's Army's presence in the Central Continent."

"Yes we did, General Ryback."

The rest of the army soon reached that spot in the stronghold as well.

They seemed impressed looking at the Demon Great General, who had already turned to ash.

Zenov was silent, thinking of something.

The Demon King's Army had invaded 50 years ago, and many countries had fallen since then.

But now they were gone, and if they wanted to attack again they would need to leave their continent. There was the possibility of long range attack being launched, but Allen felt like they successfully gained more time.

"Now to see what lies behind this."

(I wonder what he was protecting.)

The Demon Great General had been guarding a door. This was the only base with such a door.

Everyone looked warily as he opened it, and inside they found a room with multiple large magic devices.

"I wonder if this is like a research center for them."

"I don't know. To me it looks more like a teleporter."

Allen did not think that looked like a place where experiments were conducted.

A magic circle was glowing on the floor inside, which reminded Allen of Sinorom's laboratory as Peromus had described it.

Allen approached the magic device placed next to the glowing magic circle.

'This is the teleporter placed in the Central Continent. I'm sorry, but the administrator has disabled all destinations. The teleporter is currently out of service.'

"Hmhm, so this is one of the teleporters the Demon King's Army placed all over the world."

(And they blocked it while we were fighting the Demon Great General.)

The Demon Great General had been there just to buy them time.

The teleporter magic device kept repeating that it was out of service.

"So what should we do?"

"I'll let Larappa take a look at it. They left it behind so let's make good use of it."

"Huh? Ah, I see. You want to create your own teleporters based on this."

"Yeah, we'll steal their technology. It would take too long to build it from scratch anyway."

Allen addressed his party and the army's generals.

He needed magic devices like that to strengthen and mobilize the army.

So far Larappa had not succeeded in building the teleporter Allen had asked for.

The teleporter of the stronghold was out of service, but it had been operative once.

Allen decided he would get as much use out of it as he could.

He placed some summons around it just in case someone came through, and prepared things for it to be reverse engineered by Larappa.

That way Allen cleared the Central Continent of the Demon King's Army's influence.

He also obtained a teleporter, and 10 Talent Change Points.

Kurena, Shea, and Haku had reached Level 99.

And Allen went from Level 112 to Level 130.

"Alright, everything is done here. Let's go fight Megadeth."

"Wait no, you should at least organize a banquet to celebrate tonight."

"Huh? Ah, I guess."

Some people of the Hero's Army were so moved they were holding back tears.

Helmios suggested Allen celebrate their victory with a banquet at least.

That night everyone celebrated throughout the night, Allen included.
