Angel Merus, who lost in a clash with the Bronze Golem, was blown away.

Then, from a slightly flung hollow, he summoned an A-rank Dragon behind me and my friends, who was as big as the Bronze Golem.

"Orochi, match the attack and create an opening."

"Yes! Mister Merus!"

The A-rank Dragon five heads approached the Giant Bronze Golem.

Both arms of the Bronze Golem rotated like drills and approached the head of the A-rank Dragon, scattering the sound of the impact of something rubbing against it.

With a single blow, it shattered one of the A-rank Dragon's heads.

The Bronze Golem seemed much stronger than A-rank Dragon.

Michi Michi

The flesh of the A-rank Dragon's lost neck wriggled, and a head grew out of the cut neck flesh.

It was the effect of the A-rank Dragon's special skill [Super Regeneration].

(His skill is quite useful. Since he has 5 heads, he can spend some time recovering. It will save me a lot of magic stones in the long run.)

When dealing with a strong enemy, my summons inevitably became an expendable item.

They consumed a lot of magic stones, so I thought it would be helpful for them to have strong survivability.

Taking advantage of his regenerative ability, A-rank Dragon attacked from all sides, ignoring damage.

"Okay, this Bronze Golem is pretty strong. Watch out for the Drill Punch. It's a near one-hit kill!"

""Yes!""

I analyzed the fight between Merus and A-rank Dragon against the Bronze Golem and ordered my friends to participate in the fight.

And with those words, Dogora and Kurena, who had been watching from a distance, closed the distance at once.

Merle also called her Mithril Golem that had already reached 100 meters in height.

"Uriah!!!!"

And a battle between two Giant Golems commenced.

Tam-Tam grabbed both shoulders of the Bronze Golem and pushed it back slowly, one step and then another.

(Even so, isn't [Angel's Right] too good? It's too competent.)

I checked the new page added to the Grimoire, a page dedicated to [Angel's Right].

It was a list of rights that I could grant Merus.

[Select the Rights that you want to give to your Angel.]

Cannot use <Create>

Cannot use <Synthesis>

Can use <Strengthening>

Can use <Awakening>

Daily Magic Stone Usage: Not Granted

Distance From The Administrator: Unlimited

Unlimited chat input

I could give Angel Merus the authority to use various of my skills.

And also how much of it could he use.

For example, for <Summon>, I could grant him the right to summon any summons from H to A arank. If I wanted him to be able to summon any of my summons, I could select the No restriction option.

The 'daily magic stone usage' was a numerical value that indicated how much magic stone Merus could use per day to use <Create> when the skill use was granted.

The magic stone ranks were replaced by values, such as 1 for an E-rank magic stone and 10 for a D-rank magic stone.

'Distance From The Administrator' meant whether or not to let Merus exercise his authority at a distance from me.

If 1 kilometer were selected, Merus would lose his rights if he were more than 1 kilometer away from me.

(I wish I would have earned Skill Experience, but that would have been too overpowered.)

The use of the skills required Merus' mana.

Perhaps because it didn't consume my mana, I didn't gain any Skill Experience, whenever Merus used <Create>.

I had only selected and given Meru the rights he would need for combat.

My other summons listened to Merus's instructions, although it was not listed in the list of rights in the [Angel's Rights], perhaps because his position was above the other summons.

"Gugu."

After a while, Tam-Tam began losing the power struggle against the Bronze Golem.

Tam-Tam was grabbing around the shoulders of the Bronze Golem to try and prevent it from using the Drill Punches.

Tam-Tam's body was being whittled away by the approaching Drill Punch.

"Allen, it's too hard!"

In the midst of all that, Dogora was astonished at how hard the Bronze Golem was.

After changing Talents three times, Dogora had acquired overwhelming [Attack], but even so, his attacks failed to damage the Golem.

The same seemed to be true for Kurena.

(It is stronger than the S-rank magical beasts we faced as the Floor Bosses. It is in the same tier as Demon General Razel.)

The Bronze Golem was almost impervious to Kurena and Dogora's attacks.

Even from behind, Cecile's magic and Sophie's attacks through her Spirits did not do any damage.

It seemed to have a certain level of resistance to magic and Spirit magic as well as physical attacks.

I understood that the Golem had overwhelming [Attack] and [Endurance], as well as a very high level of resistance in various areas.

A general attack would have no effect against it.

I hadn't seen anyone or anything for that matter as strong since the Demon General Razel got serious and transformed into a grotesque magical beast.

"Allen, I'm going to use my [Limit Break]!"

"No, not yet. Merus! Isn't it ready yet?"

Because we were facing such a strong enemy, Kurena asked me if she could use her [Extra Skill], which raised her status.

However, I stopped Kurena from using her [Extra Skill] and checked with Merus on the status of the operation's execution.

"As I said before, this doesn't work 100%. Wait a minute- it seems to have worked."

"Oh?"

(Did it work?)

Merus was about to tell me to wait a bit, but it seemed to have worked.

"The Golem is weak against the Lightning attribute. I'm going to change everyone's attribute to Lightning as well."

"Wow! My attacks are getting through now!"

Kurena's GreatSword, gripped in both hands and wielded with all her might, sent the Giant Bronze Golem reeling back on impact.

"Oh, hey. Use it on my axe too!"

Dogora urged Merus to infuse the Lightning attribute on him as well.

Merus used his special skill [Attribute Enhancement] on Dogora's Great Axe, Formar and Sophie's bow.

He also infused the Lightning attribute to both arms of Merle's Tam-Tam.

(So, Merle's Tam-Tam is considered a weapon as well.)

Angel Merus used his special skill [Attribute Enhancement].

Skills and magic had attributes.

Of course, they could be unattributed as well.

And, depending on the attribute of the attack, the attacks had different impacts against the magical beasts.

If a magical beasts had a strong resistance to Fire, Fire magic and Fire-based skills wouldn't be very effective.

On the other hand, if the magical beast was weak to Fire, Fire magic and Fire-based skills would inflict more damage than usual.

Merus' special skill [Attribute Enhancement] allowed him to change the attributes of enemies and allies.

He could change the enemy's attributes and make them weak to a particular attribute.

And he would then infuse that particular attribute on his allies' weapons.

Depending on the rank and resistance of the magical beast, his skill could succeed or fail.

In particular, Scarlett was the only S-rank magical beast on whom [Attribute Enhancement] worked at once, but it didn't have any resistance in the first place, so it didn't really matter.

Because of its ability to add to the enemy's weakness, Merus was able to single-handedly defeat both Beebe and Crimson.

There was a reason why Merus made the Bronze Golem weak to the Lightning attribute among the many attributes.

"It's great! Magic works!"

Cecile was impressed behind me.

Equipped with 2 Rings that each increased her [Intelligence] by 3000, Cecile's Lightning Magic, with a combined status of over 10,000, was able to pass through the Bronze Golem's resistance.

One was that, Cecile, the Archmage could use Lightning attribute magic.

Cecile, as a rear guard, fired magic like a gun.

"Perish, O evil! [Judgment Thunder]!"

And another was that, Merus' awakening skill [Judgment Thunder] was of Lightning attribute.

Merus had used a [Blessing of Heaven], after taking it out from <Inventory> to restore all of his mana, and concentrated all of it in the palm of his hand.

Then, a huge thunderbolt struck the Bronze Golem, scattering electrical discharges.

"The Golem is slowing down."

(It's not enough.)

The Golem was too powerful an enemy that couldn't be defeated with a single blow even by Meru's [Judgment Thunder], which he had used with all of his mana.

However, it seemed to have done considerable damage as it reduced the Golem's by quite a lot.

After that, Kurena used her [Extra Skill] and started attacking the Golem.

"Booohm."

The Golem let out one last squeal, but then I fell over.

"You have defeated 1 Bronze Golem. You have acquired 860,000,000 Experience."

The Bronze Golem disappeared and a single Treasure Chest appeared where it was defeated.

"Yes!"

The Bronze Golem disappeared and we noticed a cube floating at the far end of the room.

And one Treasure Chest was placed right in front of the cube.

"It was a difficult fight."

When Kiel opened the Treasure Chest, he found a Stone Slab for the main body of the Mithril Golem. The Treasure Chest in the back contained one Medal with a Bronze Golem pattern on one side.

The Stone Slab for the main body of the Mithril Golem, which Merle would get, disappointed Kiel.

"Kiel, you're getting disappointed too soon. Take a look. I recognize this Treasure Chest. It's just a Wooden Chest. You can't expect too much from them."

"Oh! Does that mean there are also Silver and Gold Chests? Doesn't that mean we have to defeat a bunch of these strong enemies?"

(You already know the answer.)

Kiel's face contorted as I grinned.

I thought that there would be Silver and Gold Chests as well, since the old Wooden Chest from the Class C to Class A dungeons were found there.

However, I remembered that the chance of getting a Silver Chest was about 10%, and when we were at the Academy, we had only got 1 Gold Chest, which was less than 1%.

"Well, this time the goal is to conquer the Dungeon Boss."

I said that the Treasure Chests that appeared before the defeat of the Dungeon Bosses are only an added bonus.

Kiel was relieved at my words.

(Do we have to defeat two more of these things?)

Thus, although not the Dungeon Boss, Allen and his party defeated a powerful enemy that would lead them to the Dungeon Boss.
