Staring in confusion at the gigantic island, Jason couldn't believe what his Emperor Eyes were indicating to him.
Thinking that he was hallucinating, he rubbed them, expecting to see something different once he opened them once again.
However, that didn't happen, and everything was exactly the same which caused Jason to be utterly dumbfounded.
Because of that, he didn't even notice that Jennifer and the others had already moved ahead, increasing the gap between him and themselves.
Apparently, Kinra island's barrier was still fully activated, preventing entry to anybody who tried to venture inside it.
Thus, this time could be used to cultivate as one remained in the sky.
Without realising that the others had already gone farther ahead, Jason's entire mind was solely focused on the island as he subconsciously blurted out.
"Is that…a fucking Tortoise?"
Through the Emperor Eyes, Jason was able to see many things, including energy currents, and the island in front of him was overflowing with it.
However, this also included everything below the surface, which he was able to see clearly.
As such, he saw a ginormous head of a Tortoise more than a hundred meters below the water surface, cultivation veins, and a large vessel that was visible to no one else.
His accidental discovery caused Jason to be utterly dumbfounded, but before could continue looking at everything, he heard unfamiliar voices behind him.

Instead, there were powerhouses of a race he didn't know with their disciples that were talking to each other while throwing furtive glances at him once in a while.
Their eyes appeared to mock him, and it was not difficult for Jason to visualise what they had been talking about.
Nevertheless, he simply ignored it.
Rather than taking their provocation to heart, Jason searched for his group and joined them.
When Jennifer saw him, she couldn't help herself as she smiled lightly.
"If you don't like being with our group you can search for a new one!"
Her expression turned serious, but the tone suggested that she was teasing him.
As such, Jason could only sigh, not sure what she intended to say.
"Don't play around with me…"
After that, they continued to talk with each other, only for the cadets to join their conversation.
They were tense, and upon seeing that both Jason and Jennifer were extremely calm, they relaxed visibly.

Following that, the barrier, which one could see through a partially transparent glamor, began to shine brighter, which made the prodigies scamper to hastily enter Kinra Island as quickly as possible.
Jennifer and the other cadets were among them, and they began to approach the island the moment Luna wished them good luck, bidding them farewell.
At that moment, Jason was instinctively dragged by Jennifer, only for her to notice what she was doing.
Thus, she let go of his arm before acting as if nothing happened as she continued to walk towards the island.
However, Jason's mind was elsewhere and not focused on the land of the inheritances, but on the being that carried the entire, gigantic island on its back.
He was not even sure what kind of cultivation base the Tortoise had because it was not possible for him to peer inside its vessel.
Many things were concealed from him, including most of the things except the mammoth of the being he was diving towards.
In fact, he was not even able to see the entire Island because it was too gigantic, and it was fortunate that they had been in front of the unmoving Tortoise.
Jason was not sure whether it was hibernating, cultivating, or doing something else, but there should be a reason for it to emerge in the same area every few centuries.
At that moment, he noticed something, which caused him to halt in his tracks for a moment.
'Oh…I forgot to tell them that Kinra Island is a living being!' Jason thought when he noticed that he could have told Luna, or Jennifer about what he had figured out.

As such, he could only shrug his shoulders before he followed Jennifer and the cadets towards the Island.
The barrier that had opened a small pathway was exactly located above the Tortoise's head.
It slowly opened up like curtains that parted aside, increasing the space for the masses of people to squeeze through.
However, that was exactly what caused the entire situation to become even more chaotic because everyone wanted to be the first to enter the Lands of inheritances.
He feared that a stampede would break out with the way people rushed forward thinking that they would be one step closer to procuring an Inheritance because of that.
Unfortunately, Jason knew better that it was not easy to procure an inheritance because he had studied the files he had received, to perfection.
As such, the moment he appeared next to Jennifer, he suggested,
"Once we're inside, let's spend a few days to figure out the location of all exposed Inheritance sites! It's useless to try entering just any of the structures without knowing whether the inheritance is suitable for us or not.
It doesn't make a difference whether we enter the Inheritance site earlier or later, to begin with. Everyone's starting point is the same."
While Jennifer nodded her head, calming down from her earlier excitement, the cadets' opinion was different.
They rushed inside the crowd of beings that wanted to enter Kinra Island quickly, ignoring Jason's comment.
Unbothered by this, Jason was glad that at least Jennifer listened to him because he would be forced to follow her, otherwise.
He wanted to ensure a certain degree of safety from being around her, after all!
In the end, he was still too weak, which was obvious because his cultivation base had yet to advance to the Prismar stage.
It wouldn't take long, and just several weeks but he had to patiently wait for it to happen.
However, even then, Jason knew that the average strength of those that entered Kinra Island was at the peak of the Prismar stage.
At the same time, it was the limit at which beings could enter the gigantic island
Nevertheless, owing to the dangers looming inside the island, in addition to the fact that others were likely to attack each other, Jason was in need of Jennifer.
At least for now, even if he didn't like it!
Suddenly, just as the first beings had entered Kinra Island, he heard a familiar voice from behind, calling out his name.
"Jason! You are here too?"
Turning around he saw a group of more than ten Manyrs, with Miranda, the young woman who had tricked him with the Aeus race's 21st Prince, standing in front of them, greeting him with a bright smile.
Even if Jason had already forgiven the two for their prank at the bi-annual auction event in Lanro, he didn't like the fact that Miranda and the Prince had tried to play around with him.
As such, he greeted her unwillingly before showing signs of turning back towards the island's entrance.
This was noticed by the Manrys behind Miranda, who couldn't help but feel offended because Jason didn't pay any attention to them, treating them as if they were worthless.
Because of that, one of the women amongst their group was about to lecture Jason, only to be held back by Miranda as she said,
"Don't even try…it would be quite embarrassing to report to your family how a being at the Peak Lique stage was able to kill you…"
