Chapter 722: Leaving
"Indeed, he is." As Runeth responded, Umi suddenly stepped forward, bent her waist towards the Incarnation, and bowed her head.
"Thank you for the necklace you gave me that time, Mr. Runeth! Without it, I wouldn't be standing here right now." She said emotionally.
"Oh! Aren't you that lass tagged along with that elf?" The Incarnation asked with a frown and soon turned his attention towards Runeth.
"Glad to see you are still alive and kicking." The Incarnation suddenly stopped momentarily and walked closer to him before asking.
"Hmm, it's not your real body, is it?"
Runeth let a deep sigh and spoke with a bitter smile.
"Many things happened after I left the Easica World 25,000 years ago. During such time, I fought a Divine and was reduced to such state."
"What about Zera?" The Incarnation asked.
Instead of responding, Runeth only lowered his head and became silent.
It was as if there was a mutual understanding between Runeth and his Incarnation in that silence.
But as the moment passed, two drops of tears came out from the corner of his eyes.
"I-I'm sorry!" That's all Runeth could say.
"Don't be. Her death is not caused by you or any of us. Anyway, you better find a way to return to your normal state and at least get revenge for all of us. After all, our opponent is not someone anyone could even dream of battling." The Incarnation said.
"Attacking the Guardian of the Eternal River, huh? If that damned bastard wasn't after Zera's High Elf trait, she would be still alive and well." A trace of anger appeared on Runeth's face.
After a short delay, Runeth slowly shook his head and spoke.
"I first need to restore my spell models. Is that Spell Matrix Crystal still there?"
"You mean the Void Dragon's Bloodline Spell Copy?" The Incarnation paused for a moment and soon widened his eyes.
"You actually replicated that Bloodline Spell to an elemental one?"
"It took me 2,000 years to reconstruct and comprehend everything. But that spell model is barely holding on due to lots of damages I received during the 'Fake Reincarnation' Process. But as long as I have the Void Dragon's Spell Model replica, I can reconstruct it again." A confident smile appeared on Runeth's face.
The Incarnation nodded, walked past many sealed glass tables, and soon arrived in front of a gigantic glass box with a golden dragon symbol engraved.
Runeth, Charles, and Umi quietly followed him from behind and soon looked into the glass box.
Charles looked at the glass box and noticed more than five items were placed inside. The one closest to him was a black crystalline cube, which almost resembled the one he got from the meteorite. But instead of a fire orb, what he saw within was an eerie black orb-like fire.
No, it wasn't a fire orb but a hexagonal-shaped spell model. Charles also saw a vial filled with blood, an eerie white Eyeball that was almost the size of a human head, a Crimson Egg, and finally, a monocle.
"Although you are the one who said we shouldn't touch any final rewards of the Three Archons, it seems we indeed have no choice here." The Incarnation arrived closer to the glass box, opened the glass manually, and quietly took out the spell matrix.
"Take this and go back."
Instead of responding, Runeth walked closer to the glass box and took the vial and the monocle.
"I'm taking these two too. Bloodline Essence of Void Dragon and Head Archon's monocle."
"Why do you need those?" The Incarnation couldn't help but ask.
"These two are the most expensive things in this whole dimension. Did you take a disciple or something?"
"No. I needed both of these. Once I leave here, I don't know when I will return back. Moreover, I also lost every artifacts I had to those damned Divines of Holmes Family. If I ever ended up in a dangerous situation, I at least want to have some back up to rise again." Runeth said in a solemn tone.
Although his Incarnation wanted to speak up, Runeth shook his head and spoke solemnly.
"These are essential for me, so don't argue. Although its not the right thing to take the three Archons gifts to the Easica people for myself, I also don't have a choice here. Hope they will forgive me in the future."
With no other choice, his Incarnation gave up on arguing and turned his attention towards Charles.
"Who is this brat?"
While storing the things in his space ring, Runeth turned his gaze towards Charles and said with a smile.
"This lad is more like my student. Well, he may one day become the most dangerous person in this Universe maybe." Runeth said jokingly and then looked at Umi before speaking.
"A piece of advice, lass. Your bloodline is being corrupted by the Divine Power. Although relying on divinity to improve your rank is a good choice, it will slowly turn you into the puppet of the power itself. Hmm, you are using Ice and Snow divinities to comprehend the secret knowledge within your bloodline spell models, huh? If you want to improve further from your current condition, go to the Elder Plane and look for the Demi Clan. Don't use the Divinities anymore."
"Divinities? I never used those." Umi said in confusion.
"Strange. But your bloodline indeed has dense amount of divine power, though... Wait, now that I think about it, I heard that those four Beast Gods used some forbidden spell to split their divine power and bloodline essences and gave them to their descendants. So, you are one of those descendants, huh?" Runeth nodded as he thought of something and added.
"Well, try going to Elder Plane. You might find some good result."
Then, he looked back at the head-sized crystal placed at the hall's center and started walking towards it.
On the other hand, Charles released his wisdom power and looked at the different materials first.
"Most of the other materials here are not suitable for a Legend Rank Powerhouse." Upon seeing him searching for anything good, the Incarnation said calmly.
"I thought so, too." Charles nodded in acknowledgment.
"Let's go, Charles. It's time to return to Edhen." Runeth spoke as he arrived before the crystalline orb and touched it.
"Coming."
As Charles moved towards the orb, a similar blue screen appeared before his eyes.
"Wait! Give me some Elemental Crystals before going back. It's getting difficult to manage this place with only magic stones." Runeth's Incarnation said from behind.
"Charles, give him some," Runeth spoke as he continued to look at the blue screen. On the other hand, Charles touched his space ring and dropped 10 Fairy Elemental Crystals in all elements, causing the Incarnation's eyes to widen in shock.
"Did you rob a dragon's lair or something?" He couldn't help but ask from behind.
"It should be a God's lair. He took the spoils of an Evil Goddess and escaped. Although that doesn't much to those wicked beings, it's a forbidden rule not to take the spoils of any Gods."
"That's basically inviting a disaster on oneself!" Even the Incarnation was baffled by Charles's courage and said.
"Don't say it. He actually is a walking disaster."
Shaking his head, Runeth waved his hand, summoned a magic circle to cover the entire area, and let all the elemental crystals be absorbed into the core.
After that, he summoned a similar illusionary projection of Universal Map and started searching by writing the coordinates in rune characters.
At that moment, Charles suddenly thought of something and asked.
"Now that I think about it, how are you using this Planar teleportation Array, old man? I heard that even Udnir took more than two decades to reach Edhen from a faraway place, right?"
"Hoho, I'm going to hack the Hyperweb Space Travel pathways and use my original id to travel without spending any Emperor Coins. Basically, we are fooling the Lawful Organization to directly entering their Hyperweb Space Vortex and exit before others find out about our travel. In truth, this Hyperweb space vortex network doesn't belong to the Lawful Alliance Organization or anyone. They simply seized this travel network and is exhorting money from all the passengers from the Universe."
Saying so, Runeth zoomed in on a particular blue planet and clicked it.
Then, he again clicked another spell icon and activated the 'Planar Teleportation' spell.
"Let's meet again someday," Runeth said. As soon as Runeth spoke, a dense spatial elemental energy gathered at the hall's center and formed into a spatial crack.
Before long, the crack expanded again and turned into a deep bluish portal.
Without wasting time, Charles and Runeth jumped into the portal and disappeared from there, leaving Umi and Runeth's Incarnation behind.
Charles and Runeth once again found themselves going through the vortex of the wormhole. Like the last time, they travel for a long time before exiting the wormhole.
A second later, they found themselves standing in a vast grassland.
"Oh? We are back to Edhen already!" Charles scanned the surroundings and spoke.
