Yeom Junyeol’s sophomore year was packed, busy with studying and being a start player.
In the meantime, he must’ve felt the need to increase the number of student ambassadors for the coming year.
Yeom Junyeol’s sincerity, effort, and consideration stood out in his proposal, but I wasn’t happy.
‘My name somehow came up, but I thought Ahn Dain and Joo Soohyuk would definitely be the ambassadors.’
There were people who recommended me because of our personal connections, but I thought Joo Soohyuk and Ahn Dain would inevitably be chosen through a fair candidate selection process.
But that’s the story for when there are only two ambassadors.
Now that the number has been increased, there’s a high possibility that I’d be included.
‘Should I ask Hwang Jiho to do it?’
He calls me his benefactor or whatnot and gives me unnecessary kindness, so maybe he’ll listen if I ask him to do it for me?
After all, he’s already been giving his face some publicity as the successor of the Hwangmyeong Group.
Won’t his reputation improve if he becomes the ambassador of Eungwang High?
There’s a risk that people would notice that he’s a tiger, but it doesn’t seem like the old man intends on hiding his identity anyway, so maybe he could sub in for me?
‘No… there’s a possibility that hostile forces will discover that Hwang Jiho is attending Eungwang High as a student. We’ll be caught off guard.’
Considering Hwang Jiho’s actions so far, it’s not strange for his identity to be contemplated by many.
However, surprisingly, there weren’t many people yet who understood that the head of the 12-point alliance was a student of this school, and people only saw him as a crazy child in a problematic class.
I quickly abandoned my plan to make Hwang Jiho a pinch hitter.
‘But why do they need teachers as ambassadors?’
Yeom Junyeol said the number of student ambassadors would increase, but the hologram also indicates that a teacher will be selected as a special ambassador.
I wasn’t the only one who was curious about it as everyone except the student association was surprised.
Yeom Junyeol naturally explained it.
“Eungwang High’s promotional materials that have been published so far include interviews with teachers. But our teachers have never been public ambassadors at the front.”
The screen switched when Yeom Junyeol clicked the device.
It showed a mosaic of interviews with teachers from previous promotional materials.
Among the numerous interviews, I unconsciously smiled when I saw Professor Ham Geunhyung’s grim face.
“What? I’ve never seen that interview!”
“What year is that from?”
Geum Chansol and Wang Chansol were excited to find an interview of Jegal.
It was taken shortly after Jegal was hired to Eungwang High, and a photo was taken that looked like he was in his early and mid-20s.
The two hurriedly turned on their devices, apparently downloading the old promotional materials.
Yeom Junyeol’s presentation continued while GeumChanWangChan smiled stupidly at their devices.
Yeom Junyeol said the burden on teachers who will be chosen as the ambassador would be reduced in consideration for the busy teachers who work on administrative and teaching work.
It seemed that the details hadn’t been decided yet, so it wasn’t formally introduced to the teachers as of now.
“We will proceed with negotiations with the school once the agenda is approved within our student representative meeting and the plan is materialized. Personally, I hope that teachers, one of Eungwang High’s pride, will get the opportunity to be ambassadors.”
Eungwang High has hundreds of faculty members.
Not all teachers in office are competent and sincere, but the likes of the criminal Choi Pyeondeuk have been eliminated.
Above all, there were many excellent teachers like Ham Geunhyung, so teachers are indeed one of the prides of Eungwang High.
‘Professor Ham Geunhyung’s face is scary, but he’s not lacking in performance, personality, and talent.’
A photo of Ham Geunhyung, a teacher and the famous Legendary Archer, taken in his youth became a hot topic.
He looked scarier in the old ID photo than now, perhaps because his youthful energy was evident on his face.
People say that it looked like a picture of a wanted felon.
It’s hard to refute, but maybe some warm lighting and fun costumes would make it better.
As I was lost in thought, I heard some murmurs here and there.
Everyone was saying teachers’ names one by one, but there seemed to be more than one or two students who shared my thoughts.
‘…I guess everyone has a teacher they want to recommend.’
GeumChanWangChan was immediately on guard when Jegal’s name came up.
The two had serious faces, and though they wanted to see Jegal model, they seemed to be worried that he’d gain more fans if he becomes more famous.
It’s predictable that those Class 2-0 seniors would react like that, but there was something unexpected.
“I think Professor Kim Shinrok would be good at modeling. What do you think, Sanghoon-ah?”
“…That would be good.”
“Right? We should talk to our classmates.”
Yoo Sanghoon answered soullessly, but Ahn Dain showed a very active attitude.
Does Ahn Dain want to push Kim Shinrok as the school’s ambassador?
Kim Shinrok hides his face with reverse skills even though he changes his identity several times.
He’s actually a descendant of the Tiger and Bear Clans, so wouldn’t that be a little…
However, seeing the PMH title heroine support her homeroom teacher like that made me want to cheer for her.
Ahn Dain in PMH suffered a lot from having Choi Pyeondeuk as her homeroom teacher, so I want to see her have a great school life with a good teacher this time around.
“The student ambassador will be easy to decide, but the competition for the teacher ambassador would be fierce. Don’t you think?”
I felt a belated realization for Kim Yuri when she said those words with a smile.
I was distracted by the teacher ambassador that I forgot about the student side!
Do I have to raise the objection now?
No, but Yeom Junyeol’s presentation was too flawless so there was nothing for me to object to!
Eventually, the decision of increasing the number of student ambassadors was implemented.
There were several abstentions when we voted, but the rest were all in favor.
“Then, the following is the agenda proposed by the president of the general club.”
Yeom Junyeol somehow looked in a better mood than when he presented the idea of increasing the number of ambassadors.
Not only Yeom Junyeol, but the whole conference hall seemed excited.
People seemed excited about the teacher ambassador, but there were some students who seemed aspiring to be student ambassadors.
In this excited atmosphere, Heo Chaeah took the podium with a very nervous face.
“The general club would like to talk about the military academy exchange exhibition plan. The next exchange match is next fall, but it seems that the deadline is tight even if we start preparing right now…”
Her speech was a little blurry as if she was having a hard time to talk about the topic.
Heo Chaeah seemed to have prepared data to go with her presentation, but she rarely turned on the hologram.
Her hands were shaking from nervousness.
We only proceeded when one of the members of the general club turned on the hologram for her.
‘She wasn’t that nervous during the regular report earlier. It must’ve been more difficult to present that time because the atmosphere was rigid, but it went well. I think she’s trying to propose a new project.’
I made a short inference from Heo Chaeah’s nervous face, and as expected, she proposed a new project.
She suggested a plan to expand the exchange match with the Player Military Academy.
This year’s exchange exhibition was large, but the sports played were limited.
Only some students selected through sports-related clubs, small groups, or tryouts were able to participate in the event.
It was a sports exchange match, of course, but other clubs must’ve wanted to join in.
‘The newspaper department participated by taking coverage though. I spent that day rather faithfully… I guess other clubs want to do something too.’
It was something that didn’t cross my mind, but my playable character Heo Chaeah had a deep insight.
Though her voice was shaky, she gradually explained the outline of the club exchange exhibition, which was conceived by the general club.
If this agenda is passed, it would require more budget, time, and personnel than the last sports exchange exhibition, but the initiative that Heo Chaeah presented was quite interesting.
“We will proceed with the vote.”
Heo Chaeah went down from the podium after the presentation, and I saw her clasp her hands tightly.
She really seems to want it approved.
Sitting next to her was the malicious commenter since they were from the same class.
She began to talk to that piece of garbage.
‘Heo Chaeah doesn’t have an eye for people!’
Anyone can’t be perfect, but isn’t it too much that she’s friends with someone like Gye Idam?
Does that trashy Ahn Dain fan even know that Heo Chaeah is a playable character?
Heo Chaeah wasn’t a very important playable character.
‘Gye Idam has no idea what she went through in PMH.’
While I was lamenting, the vote count was over.
The result is a pass.
Her agenda was large in scope and the preparation process was complicated.
There were fewer pro votes than in the ambassador agenda, but it was passed anyway.
“Next is the assignment of guides in the practical examination of the entrance exam.”
This time, instead of votes for pro and anti, a call for volunteers was held.
Because it’s a large school, the examinees often get lost, so the placement of information stations was essential.
Although students are escorted where they would take the test through an air shuttle, middle school students often get lost when they take a short break.
‘Eunho and his descendants would take the test soon.’
Yeom Junyeol, who was explaining what the guides would do, added a word in a slightly heavier voice.
“In the last year’s test, the Bear Clan attacked and put examinees in danger. Guides will be in pairs, so we expect a lot of volunteers.”
Being a recent incident, it’s naturally to be armed and prepared for something like that happening this year.
In other words, we’d be guards more than guides.
I don’t think the Black Screen will be aiming for this year’s test, but I volunteered to participate without hesitation.
Most expressed their intent to participate except for those who had no time, so there was no shortage of people.
Other than the members of autonomous organizations, guide station plans were set to select more students.
‘Should I invite my classmates?’
Although small, there’s going to be a part-time fee so maybe I should invite Mok Wooram?
Considering his ability and mobility, he’d be suitable for the job.
While my mind wandered, Yeom Junyeol’s next words caught my attention.
“The next item on the agenda is this year’s Christmas event.”
