The recorded video clearly showed the two attention-seekers dressed in swan costumes running away with the attendance books.

Checking the video and hearing what happened was enough to give me a headache.

Two of my playable characters were tied to this case, and it bothered me very much that both of them are from our class and knows That Word.

‘Why did those two steal the attendance books?’

Whatever their motivation was, I’m sure it was for the ultimate purpose of attracting attention.

At first, it was just absurd, but as I kept watching the video, I began to notice other things.

‘…Those clothes are well-made. They look like swans spraying light and perching.’

Those overly noticeable and colorful outfits must be made by Neon himself.

The talented attention-seeker Phantom Thief Neon always wears self-made clothes whenever he does anything.

I don’t know how she ended up wearing clothes made by him, but I’m sure Goo Seulbi liked them.

‘Goo Seulbi isn’t someone you can force to do what she doesn’t wanna do. Even if it’s Joo Soohyuk, her close friend.’

In PMH, Goo Seulbi was closest to Joo Soohyuk in their class.

They were so close that when Joo Soohyuk was in a crisis, Goo Seulbi was ready to risk herself to rescue him.

However, she never showed up at class events that Joo Soohyuk asks her to attend.

‘That’s why Joo Soohyuk’s fans went after her too.’

They didn’t mind that she didn’t attend the event, but Joo Soohyuk’s fans were off put by Goo Seulbi’s character who clearly expressed herself.

In the end, Joo Soohyuk’s fans called out Goo Seulbi.

It was a bitter incident, but it didn’t really cause a problem because of Goo Seulbi’s strong mentality.

She scolded Joo Soohyuk’s fans, and Joo Soohyuk helped handle the situation as well.

“Their clothes are the same. Why’d they wear those?”

“Dunno, maybe they’re on some unusual date? They look like they work well together!”

“Oh, right. Show me how they opened the door again. I don’t think the teachers inside heard them enter.”

“That bothered me too! Let’s watch it together.”

Saeum of April and Maeng Hyodon studied how our two classmates moved.

There were people of royal lineage and descendants among our teachers, and it was quite impressive that they found the right gap and timing to steal those records.

Of course, it’s as expected of my playable characters.

In any case, although those two kids who are still refusing to go to school had just caused an incident, the rest of our class seems to be doing well.

“Guys, the CSAT is coming soon so I’m thinking…”

After the morning ordinance was over, Kim Yuri wrote a huge “D-8” on the electronic blackboard.

Eight days before the college entrance exams.

Time seemed to go by really fast.

“I thought only the third-year seniors have to take that. Do we have to do something?”

“Usually it’s just the student association who helps out, but it seems to be a Class Zero tradition to take care of our Class Zero seniors.”

It was a strange bond between Class Zero, but it was surprising to hear of such a heart-warming tradition.

After Kim Yuri’s explanation, questions from our class followed.

“Third-years take the final exam as soon as they’re done with the CSAT so they can graduate right away, right?”

“Looking at the academic schedule, only the third-years take the final exam early.”

“Yeah, the third-year final exam is a week after the CSAT. Regardless of the CSAT results, they still have to take the final exam to graduate. That’s why we’re gonna prepare an event for our seniors in hopes that they all graduate safely.”

In the end, it seemed more important to ensure that our sunbae-jerks would graduate safely.

“Ah… I heard from a sunbae in the string club that sometimes people fail their final exam on purpose.”

“…I heard from the art department that there was someone in Class Zero who got angry ‘cos they didn’t pass the CSAT, so they failed their final exam too.”

Kwon Lena and Min Geurin’s words made the atmosphere fluctuate.

The situation of our third-year seniors was famous.

What will happen if Woo Kihwan and his class flunk the final exam on purpose so they can get one more year to compete with Im Yeonhwa?

A terrible hybrid of GeumChanWangChan and Woo Kihwan will be born!

‘…It’s a possibility. Woo Kihwan would surely advocate for it.’

It was Hwang Jiho who drove a wedge into this idea.

“Hahaha! There have been cases where Class Zero students flunked on purpose. There were also classes that attempted to fail as a whole class. Though teachers managed to persuade them.”

Does it mean we would really have to see those lunatics for another year?

Woo Kihwan and GeumChanWangChan are likely to play game of thrones for the position of class president, and it was terrible to imagine what the aftermath of that would be.

“I heard from the Chansol sunbaenims, and they said the third-years should definitely graduate because they don’t want to be in the same class as them.”

“Ah, I heard that too! The seniors don’t want more students to be handled by Professor Jegal.”

It’s difficult for me to understand these Jegal fanatics, but their attempt to prevent the third-years from staying another year was desirable.

Just like that, our class decided we should prepare an event to cheer on our seniors who will take the CSAT.

This cheering event wouldn’t help lessen the eccentricity of our seniors, but everyone seemed to take a bet on it.

“I really want Miro to participate in this… Are you available?”

“Yeah, I don’t have any schedules so I think it’ll be okay.”

There is a rumor that a Dokgo Miro fan was hiding between the Class Zero sunbae-jerks, so it was decided that Dokgo Miro be a central part of the event.

Those seniors are nothing short of barbarians, so I don’t know if any of them participate in fandom culture.

‘I should prepare some gifts.”

The newspaper department seniors, Oh Hyeji, Sung Siwan, Do Wonwoo, Yoo Sanghee…

Most of the seniors I knew would be taking the CSAT.

I don’t know if Woo Kihwan will take it or not, but as his Class Zero sunbae, and also since he coached me in the past, I thought I should give him a present.

‘Luckily they’re still accepting orders. I was gonna have to ask Ok Toyeon a favor if they weren’t.’

Lunchtime, at the walking trail in the freshmen area.

I sat on the bench alone as I reserved a set of limited edition glutinous moon rabbit rice cakes for my seniors.

The weather was getting chilly, and my fingers were a little cold.

‘But I gotta do what I gotta do.’

I clenched my fists a few times to make the blood circulate better in my fingertips before I decided to check my messages.

The first one I saw was from Sung Gukeon.

[Sung Gukeon] Thanks for letting me know about the coronation stone. The crow demon king is involved so we should be more careful.

Sung Gukeon still has the device code given by the Fomorian demon.

The deal with the Fomorian was like a poisoned chalice, and fortunately, Sung Gukeon seemed to have no intention of holding it.

Still, he seems to know of its location.

‘Ryujang was after that stone too anyway, so Sung Gukeon wouldn’t have to destroy it.’

I replied briefly to Sung Gukeon and almost closed the message window.

[Sung Gukeon] About Kim Shinrok.

[Sung Gukeon] Feel free to contact me if you got anything about him.

[Sung Gukeon] See you next time.

I heard that Kim Shinrok and Hwang Jiho, in the form of Hwang Yuho, tried to get in contact with him once a week.

Sung Gukeon may have noticed something in those meetings with Kim Shinrok.

‘…There’s not much I can do though.’

It would take some more time for us to know how Sung Gukeon would take the Tiger Clan and its descendant.

I told Sung Gukeon “Okay.” before opening a different message.

[Me] Hello, Team Leader Hong Gyubin.

I know Hong Gyubin was very busy, but I didn’t expect an automated message to arrive.

‘He must be very busy.’

So busy that he can’t afford to check his messages.

Since the CSAT is just around the corner, I hope Do Wonwoo and Yoo Sanghee’s case gets settled soon…

I sent another message, telling him to call me when he has the time, and then closed the message window.

Dingdong.

Another message arrived.

This time, in the group message room with Joo Soohyuk and Maeng Hyodon.

[Joo Soohyuk] Euishin-ah! I saw Yoonseob smoking. What bread should he buy now?

[Joo Soohyuk] (Photo)

The photo showed Bang Yoonseob having three sticks of cigarettes in his mouth.

Although the cigarettes weren’t lit, the number of cigarettes was high enough to consider it an offense.

[Maeng Hyodon] What’s wrong with him these days?

[Maeng Hyodon] The master’s angry ‘cos he doesn’t train

[Joo Soohyuk] Yoonseob hasn’t been attending training?

[Maeng Hyodon] Yeah

Bang Yoonseob’s heartbreak must’ve given him a huge shock.

However, considering that Tak Geosan was leaving him alone, Bang Yoonseob’s condition must be a lot worse than I thought.

‘He’s around here. Should I go to him?’

Looking at the photo sent by Joo Soohyuk, Bang Yoonseob seems to be near the walking trail area so I decided to go to him.

I should take a good look at him first so that I can figure out what’s going on.

[Me] I’m on the way.

I sent the message and started to run, when…

“Get lost, you two!”

I heard Bang Yoonseob’s hoarse voice shouting.

In front of him were Joo Soohyuk and a female student.

Joo Soohyuk was speaking softly as if to soothe Bang Yoonseob.

“Yoonseob-ah, how can you say that?”

“…”

Joo Soohyuk stood between the female student and Bang Yoonseob, who was exuding hostility.

Perhaps it was because he worried that the female student would get hurt by Bang Yoonseob’s rampage, but Joo Soohyuk’s action seemed to have aggravated his anger.

Seeing the female student’s eyes, I got a hunch.

‘Is she the one who broke up with him? …Wait, I know her.’

The female student with a troubled expression behind Joo Soohyuk was a face that I knew.

She appeared briefly in PMH, but she got involved with my playable characters.

She was also the one I was thinking about earlier.

‘She was dating Bang Yoonseob?’

The woman was Joo Soohyuk’s middle school friend and the one who kept Goo Seulbi in check in PMH.
