With every step, an image would appear in Zhao Luo's mind. Unfortunately, Zhao Luo couldn't even stop these images to pop up in his mind.
They were like a stalker creeping on the one being stalked.
'Aghh.'
The images included him and Mite.
It was the time when they had fought with their swords.
Mite had two uneven swords in his hands while Zhao Luo held Ifrit and Blackey in his hands like some genius swordsman.
"He used a silver tier technique too."
Zhao Luo mumbled as he reached the second floor.
When Zhao Luo had defeated Mite, Mite was using a silver tier technique but it didn't amount to much.
Even though it was a perfect technique for a big guy like Mite.
"I need to decide carefully."
Zhao Luo felt the need to heighten his senses so he wouldn't simply fall for the name of a technique by misunderstanding the color (tier) and grade of the technique.
This was indeed a bad memory for him.
Having a Fight to the death with your current friend was indeed not a good thing to be remembering.
'Tsk.'
Zhao Luo clicked his tongue and shook his head.
He didn't even have much time left.
'31 minutes and 52 points.'
Zhao Luo knew how much time he had left.
While thinking of his remaining time and points, Zhao Luo went towards the first shelf of the second floor.
"Let's see what we have here."
Zhao Luo stopped at the shelf and his eyes went over the books and the scrolls like he was scanning them some invisible rays coming out of his eyes.
Many bronze books and bronze scrolls, ranging from grade D to A were present on the shelf but the A Grade Bronze technique was in abundance.
While Zhao Luo could also see silver techniques but their grades were C and D.
"They are all foot technique."
Zhao Luo realized that the structural setting of the shelves was the same as it was on the first floor.
[The First Shelf - Foot Technique Shelf]
Zhao Luo already had a great foot technique so he just went over the names and didn't waste any point on any foot technique.
"The names are again like a big..."
Zhao Luo couldn't just complete his sentence cause it would be like he was accusing the founder of this technique to be con artists.
'..Bait.'
Zhao Luo thought with a grin.
His gaze went over some books and scrolls that could be said to be some unparallel foot technique just by their name.
"Tiger's Walk, (C)"
The first that came grabbed Zhao Luo's attention would be a book that was a Grade-C silver technique with a very dominating name.
'Hmm.'
Hardly controlling his urge to take this book, Zhao Luo pulled his gaze back and looked ahead.
"Speed of the Deity, (A)"
'What?'
Zhao Luo was stunned. After reading this name from a book that had a bronze cover showing that it was even lower than the 'Tiger walk', Zhao Luo certainly felt lost.
But the next books had even more baiting names.
Even though he already had a foot technique, 'First Walk', Zhao Luo still wanted to get these techniques too but he knew he couldn't.
Two silver techniques that were the next techniques to catch his attention were.
"Vanished Foot, (D)"
"Dream Run, (C)"
'Sigh.'
Zhao Luo felt awful.
'Am I a beggar?'
Zhao Luo compared himself to a beggar as whenever he would bring his hand close to these books, his remaining points would pop up in his mind.
"I thought 75 points were a lot. Shit."
Zhao Luo cursed his points but unfortunately, his points would never know.
There was no rule that a person could only learn one technique of a certain category thus it was hard for Zhao Luo to control his desire to read these books.
He felt like a lady who was shopping for clothes but forgot her credit card and purse at home.
'Sigh.'
With another sigh which was filled with sadness, Zhao Luo moved to the next shelf.
Another shelf with many books and scrolls of fist techniques.
"I already have a fist technique. Let's just move on."
Zhao Luo calmed himself down.
Unlike 'Half Walk' which was a cheap rip-off of the First Walk that was just the first stage of a technique named, Flash Step, Zhao Luo's Bullet Fist (C) was a complete technique so it was easy for him to keep himself calm.
"Tap, Tap"
Zhao Luo calmly walked around the shelf.
Just like he had planned to but something appeared in his sight that made him stop in his tracks.
Zhao Luo's mind shook looking at this scene.
"WTF."
Zhao Luo cursed out loud.
"Fwoo~"
He pulled out the book that had surprised him.
"Bullet Fist II, (D)"
Zhao Luo read the name.
The name of this technique was the same as the technique that was chilling in his storage space except for the two marks at the end of the technique name but that wasn't the only issue.
The grade was less. His bullet fist was a C grade while this one was a D grade fist technique.
"No, No, No"
Zhao Luo still couldn't believe it as the grades being different wasn't the only issue here.
This "Bullet Fist II, (D)" in his hands was a silver colored technique while the one in Zhao Luo's storage, was a bronze technique.
To confirm his suspicions Zhao Luo opened the book.
"It's the same."
Zhao Luo read the whole page and it was indeed the same, just that the training part was missing.
"The main difference is this ending."
Zhao Luo said as his gaze moved down and he read the later parts of the technique.
[ When your Fist becomes one with the Body, only then will you be able to master this Improved Version Of Bullet Fist ]
[ To Learn: 20 points/Master the Bullet Fist First ]
Zhao Luo read the conditions of the 'Bullet Fist II' and fell into a state of confusion.
He couldn't decide who he should be blaming right now.
The writer of these books who didn't give a single hint that this technique, 'Bullet Fist' was a technique that could be improved further into 'Bullet Fist II' or himself, who prematurely decided on this technique and stored it in his storage.
"I have only 51 points left."
Zhao Luo looked at the book and thought about how many points he would be left with if he got this book.
"Ah."
Zhao Luo felt like screaming as he bit his lip and flipped the page that is using his points on this book.
'31 points left.'
Zhao Luo thought and looked at the introduction page of this 'Bullet Fist II' in his hand.
[ I mastered the art of fists. The road had already ended for me. My fists were perfect. Many swords had fallen before my fists. Many spears had been busted apart by these godly fists. But then I met him. A man who carried a wood stick, who used a wood stick like a part of his body, like a weapon. He didn't differentiate if it was a weapon or his body part, he used his four limbs while his body was the core to leave a mark on my fist and pushing me back]
"Interesting."
Zhao Luo could imagine the scenario of the author while reading the description.
The start was indeed weird and a sign that the one who wrote this improved version of Bullet Fist had thought that his Bullet Fist was already perfect but after facing a setback he found the weaknesses in his technique.
Zhao Luo could see the image of a sturdy man whose back looked like the peak of a mountain. And another man who had a small stick in his hand and a smile on his face.
With such an image Zhao Luo continued reading.
[The road that had already ended for me opened up once again. I could see a path to perfect my fist technique. I started improving under that man's guidance. I dropped my pride, threw away my stubbornness, and only then was I able to connect all my limbs and the core. That is when I performed the last form of the improved bullet fist. The Bullet Fist of Yin and Yang]
The page ended here.
Obviously, if Zhao Luo wanted he could turn the page and learn about the technique further but he stopped here.
"Bullet Fist of Yin and Yang."
Zhao Luo repeated the last form of the improved Bullet Fist and stored the book in his storage space.
Zhao Luo started moving once again.
This time he never slowed down no matter how heavenly the title of a technique was, Zhao Luo couldn't care anymore.
'I only have 10 minutes left with 31 points to spare.'
Zhao Luo knew that he could only get one more technique out of so many techniques while he didn't even have that much time left.
'Hmm.'
Many silver colored techniques entered his eyes.
"Matchless Vision, (D)"
"Unwavering Body, (C)"
"Metallic Defense, (C)"
"What the Rock is cooking, (C)"
Zhao Luo was close to grabbing his hairs and pulling them out as the names were getting more and more absurd as he kept on reading them.
"What the hell is this even? What the Rock is Cooking? Some kind of wrestling move?"
Zhao Luo shouted as he had reached the last book on the last shelf without deciding which one to pick.
