The Villain's Side of the Novel

Am I the villain? In truth, I never fancied myself as a hero. I always carried the weight of people's animosity, believing it was somehow my fault, convinced I wasn't as kind or benevolent as the protagonist. Yet, I never saw myself as a villain. Then, one day, I woke up to the harsh reality that everyone else did, including those I was willing to sacrifice my life to protect.

On that fateful day, I not only grappled with being labeled a villain but also found myself burdened with the monumental task of saving humanity. As a supposed antagonist, saving the world wasn't technically my responsibility. But who else could shoulder such a duty? Should I entrust it to the protagonist, who squanders his time amassing a questionable harem despite wielding the most potent cheat code? The hero who, despite his powers, ultimately failed in his mission, willing to protect our enemies simply because they currently live in peace?

Ugh! The very thought of that hypocrite, convincing himself that he wants to control everything to safeguard the innocent, makes my blood boil. Fine, I'll do it. I'll save this chaotic world, but I'll do it my way. Anyone daring to stand in my path will soon discover why the world itself brands me a villain.
