I'll Surpass The MC

I boasted about surpassing the main character in a novel. To validate my claim, an Eldritch entity chose to test it by reincarnating me into that very novel's world. However, I soon discover I'm not the sole reincarnate; there are five others with me. Hold on, hold on! Why is the main character now a regressor? That certainly wasn't part of the expected storyline
